Not the best show from Sony, but maybe still the best show of the year - overall a pretty bad year
Have to wonder if Sony are doing a Gamescom or Paris Games Week or something in a couple months so saving some of the big guns. Where the hell was a GT release date / GT Sport at all?!?!
There was never going to be any TLOU2 stuff. It was only 6 months ago they revealed it, with the caveat of "this is super early, basically nothing has been done yet!". They almost certainly weren't going to show it again until gameplay is ready. Perhaps they would have been better served with a less impactful PSX closer and saving TLOU2 reveal for this, but idk.
Glad to see some solid VR support. You're insane if thought there wouldn't be any. PSVR is the best selling VR by significant margin, yet people constantly say "Sony doesn't support their VR". "If they don't show VR stuff at E3 we'll know it's totally dead". What are they to do.
Pretty sure they showed nothing that isn't a full console exclusive, other than the marketing deal mandatory content for CoD and Destiny 2. A marked contrast to Microsoft shouting "EXCLUSIVE" over anything that isn't really an exclusive of any sort. And a lol true, but slightly unnecessary jab by the CEO about MS closing their show with someone else's multiplat game.
