If Dazzle dies early in a fight and VP have Sanity's it's GG OG. Pasha needs to duel the Dazzle I think. Can't see getting Tree pre-overgrowth.

Yeah Fly's graves were absurd that game - definitely won them a few crucial fights.

As someone who's fanboyed every team Notail/Fly have been on since Fnatic in HoN this is so awesome - now they just have to do it at a TI.

Also agree that this was an incredible tournament. The level of play was really high, coverage was great and some amazing, tight series.

ps: enchantress trying to go straight mkb after dragonlance is a huuuuge part of why they lost that game, anything actually helpful midgame wouldve ended it

yea enchant was an incredible pick for the first half of that game, it's so good vs timber with pure dmg and damage over distance. trying to go for MKB is just such a difficult build-up, hard to get to unless you're pos 1 or 2 imo

perhaps if Alch bought blood thorn instead of MKB, then ench wouldn't need to get MKB also

Watched the g5 team fights in slow motion and while VP could have played it better I think the bigger reason for the turn around was elite itemization and execution by OG. Between euls, halberd and overgrowth OD and enchantress didn't get to attack much. In retrospect it seems like a pretty big error to have 4 heroes building for auto attacking against treant and OG exploited that.

Definitely agree with this when you also consider that solar crest is strong enough that both teams built at least one every single game.

Really enjoyed the Swiss group stage, but it sort of didn't work out all that well since there isn't a huge advantage in seeding, especially with best of 3s and semi-parity. Secret got the raw end of that.

OG super impressive as always, EG super unimpressive and they're lucky they didn't get beaten by that lolBrazil team

The Swiss groups are good in general, but made no sense since it was just to seed in a single elimination. There was no point to the group stage at all.

I didn't watch a lot but in some games I did see there wasn't nearly as big an early game advantage as the commentators led us to believe. For instance a slight net worth advantage for a team with Alchemist is barely, if at all, an advantage. That's probably the most extreme example, but same goes for basically all heroes that are strong in lane but don't do very well later on.
