Tongfu atm I think is stronger because they are playing a lot more games and dominating the asian scene atm.
CLEARLY ZENITH BELONGS NOWHERE NEAR THE TOP OF YOUR POWER RANKINGS FOR TI2!!! LOL!

(then again, NaVi did just get beat by mTw, so not sure I should talk)

Re: DOTA 2

In any case, has anyone heard how good the audio quality is in game now for voice chat? It's incredible. They changed it up since Tobi's mic sounded like **** in-game vs. on own3d.

Haven't tried the in-game e-sports watching system though, has anyone else?

Re: DOTA 2

At the International 2 I think a lot of teams are being underestimated at the moment. I feel like certain teams are not a lock for a top 3 finish. The game is changing rapidly making some teams looking unstoppable at one point and the next they have clear flaws. Currently the Chinese are not looking as great as they did in Dota 1 but they still have 2 months to boot camp.

In my opinion at least 11 of the other teams have a really decent shot at taking first. I would not be surprised if one of other 15 teams takes first place and it is not Na'vi. Na'vi still has to be the favorites but I really feel at least 11 of the other 15 teams can give Na'vi serious problems.

I also do expect for Zenith to do very well. I am surprised how fast Zenith started playing well after the addition of Loda.

Re: DOTA 2

Just got an invite for this, is it normal to take like 3-4 min to find a game every time?

Re: DOTA 2

Depends on what server and what time you're playing. During peak hours it takes me less than a minute to find a game.

Na`Vi vs MTW tonight at 8pm CET, gonna be good

My only problem is that the Chinese haven't played in a tournament where Euro's play too. iG is a prime example. Beat a few top asian teams, but haven't even played a Euro one yet.

That is kind of my reasoning. I think the Chinese are a huge wild card because of this. Everyone knows they are extremely skilled but what will they bring to the table? Black from mouzsports said he thinks the top 3 teams will be Chinese but I doubt that.

My entire point is that I would not be surprised if the top 1 - 8 teams place in an strange order.

Will it be possible to watch through the ingame tournaments tab or only through streams?

Re: DOTA 2

You can watch through the client but you have to buy a ticket in the Steam store.

I got one for The Defense. I wouldn't buy again if I could. I will buy again, in the future though, once they get the problems fixed.

Right now the biggest is that you can't change the audio levels of the sound FX and Tobi's voice, so in order to hear Tobi as loudly as the stream, you have to turn it up and are stuck with really loud sound FX. This is even worse when Tobi casts with someone that speaks softly.

Also, the animations were noticeably out of sync. I think they will fix these problems soon though, and then it will be really great. Being able to see exactly how the pros build their heroes with items and skill builds is amazing.

Re: DOTA 2

I think there is a clear tier of teams that will win it. While other teams are just trying to make a dream run.

Re: DOTA 2

I've been trying to find information on this but have been unable to do so, so far. Is there a "leveling system" like in LoL in Dota2? I'm referring to how in LoL you go 1-30 then can play ranked games for Elo. Is there any system like this in Dota 2? If not, what do you use to measure your stats against?

There is a MMR. However, this MMR isn't revealed to the public. There are 3 tiers inside each level where are Normal, High and Very High. This can be found in Watch>Filter>Skill level.
