DOTA 2

This was just recently posted on ************

"The rumors and speculation can cease. Valve is making Dota 2, we've played it, and it's already amazing even though it's not coming out until next year. And we haven't yet laid eyes on Dota 2's biggest innovation: a radical approach to integrating the game's community back into the gameplay itself."

IceFrog has been maintaining and updating dota-allstars. He is now working on dota 2 with valve. I hope the game turns out better than HON or LOL. I still play dota on a daily basis and love the game. One of the best games I've ever played actually, and I'm really looking forward to this.

Has anyone else heard anything about this project? It sounds like dota 2 will remain true to the original with a couple enhancements, such as AI playing the leavers, better graphics, voice chat, coaching system, among many other features.

Re: DOTA 2

Apparently this is awesome for everyone because the Valve engine allows i.cefr.og to do things he can't with the WC3 map editor.

Re: DOTA 2

Icefrog is overrated, but still the best "figurehead/strategic supervisor" of any of the DOTAesque arena games.

So obv will be ditching hon for dota 2.

This. Especially since S2 has been extremely disappointing me since release because they just don't release enough new heroes.

If you hook the Wc3 CD keys to a battle.net account you can download the clients.

What has it been 5 months and no ****ing update for a game that was supposedly coming out this year because they weren't making too many changes? Updates anyone?
