I have a few more in Nagrand that I want to finish tonight and then I'll probably head over there. The thing that sucks is that my XP bar is purple so I only get single XP. For awhile I had full rest (blue) and was getting double. Once I go unrested, it takes a little longer. I have an epic mount though so I can get around quickly.

I remember I did quests solely from 60-70, I dinged 70 in netherstorm, still had a bunch of quests to do there, and hadnt even touched shadowmoon valley yet.

I've solo quested probably 99% of the time from 1-67. I like getting full XP rather than sharing. The one thing that sucked yesterday was that I had a lvl 70 in a party just because he was protecting me from horde, and when he was near me, I was only getting half XP when killing animals.

I'm gonna head to Netherstorm today after I get home from work and do as many quests as I can. It appears that Netherstorm gives alot of gold and XP and so maybe I'll be able to make it really close to 68.

Similar, except I skipped a couple of the final netherstorm quests to go ding 70 in SMV so I could get my gryphon asafp.

The only time doing instances is faster xp than solo questing is when you have rest xp. Doing quests as groups is really only a good idea when you absolutely need those extra people to complete it or there is high competition of what's needed to complete the quest.

Speaking of which, why must the healers in my guild suck and not be able to heal through Kalecgos? Damn I'm sick of this boss.

Who are the healers failing to heal specifically? I am sure you know the fight is execution. Is everything else working right, like rotations and decursing?

I never ended up making it to Netherstorm. A guy in my guild said that I should wait until I'm lvl 70 to go there so that all of the quests give me gold rather than drops, because those quests give a ton of gold.

I continued in Nagrand because I had a few quests I wanted to finish. 6 hours later I was still in Nagrand because those damn chain quests go on forever. I ended up getting 490,000 experience points. I'll definitely hit level 68 today as I only have another 250,000 or so to go.

A guy in my guild was saying that awhile go the Alterac Valley battleground was different. It lasted 27 hours and he had over 5000 honorable kills. Others were saying that WoW approached him to beta test Eye of the Storm because he was one of the leaders with the most honorable kills, somewhere around 350,000. I asked him, but he didn't confirm it. Supposedly he's like 61 years old too.

ugh I feel like a huge nerd whenever this game is brought up. I used to be cool, I swear...............

Anyways, this was my feeling about multi-boxing. Why the hell would I want 5 shaman? I dont even want that may 70s, because for every 70, I would have to play that much more to get them geared. My girl has an account that she never uses, so I figured I would duo box two characters I wanted to play, a druid and shaman. (I have a 70 hunter I raid on)

I run 2 wow programs on one computer, and use Keyclone to control the character that is the one following the character I control. The main problem I have with this is that leveling is SLOW, and gathering quests can take forever. So I switched it up. I dropped the shaman and had the druid follow my 70 hunter around in lowbie instances while gaining tons of xp. Not a bad way to do it.

Most other things are working fine. What's happening is during the difficult transitions when there are only 2 healers up (1 raid, 1 tank), often they've fallen behind on healing and either the tank dies or members of the raid died. We're working on forcing that last group to have 3 healers by having a pally bubble just before the 3rd portal to prevent him from being ported and hoping he isn't 1 of the first 2 ported (4 group rotation).

We've gotten extremely close to killing this guy a few times when the inside Kalecgos died with the demon at <3% and outside guy at 6%. Oh well, hopefully tonight.

So i ran up my warrior to lvl 70 and then saw how ****ing long it takes to get your PvP gear....so i ended up buying a lvl 70 warrior for $300 instead!!

I finally went to Netherstorm yesterday and ended up hitting 68. I only played maybe 2 hours because I was getting burned out. Outlands can be a pure grind sometimes. But the good thing is that I will be gaining all of that rested XP so it'll be a little faster after I get back on tonight.

I played 1 Alterac Valley battleground and we destroyed horde. They didn't even have a chance.

Part of the fun is grinding it out, killing horde, gaining tokens and honor, and then buying your gear.

I started a character on the "WoWcrack" server at www.wowscape.net

Alliance Mage. Took about 10 hours to get to level 38, but it could definitely be done quicker.

The only significant issue I've noticed thus far is that the boats dont work. Most(all?) skills/talents seem to work just fine. It has come a long way. This is a good alternative for those who do not wish to spend an obscene amount of time leveling, or pay for access for that matter.

There are about 4500 players online during peak hours. So there is no shortage of PvP or raiding action.

Started a pally on crack not too long ago, already at 62. This server is preferable imo because scape has donors with insane weapons that you can't avoid. Like, if a warrior or rogue tries to gank me, I'll 99% of the time get away safely and laugh at them.

Also, you actually have to experience raids other than hyjal and bt to gear up on crack, which I was interested in.. Getting a group for tk or mag was impossible on scape. = /

I've been doing it since about level 60. I have a bunch of marks and around 6500 honor. I am not running battlegrounds that much, but I think they are fun.

Say you want to do PvP and PvE, not really wanting to devote your lvl 70 to strickly one area. Is it common to work on gear for both and then just put on the set depending on what you plan on doing?

I'm really intrigued on working on getting gladiator gear (s2 when it comes out), but I also want to be able to run Kara with my guild and any other PvP thing.

Get into an arena team and do the minimum 10 games a week, it equals a free current season(season 3 now) epic every couple weeks or more depending on how well you do. But if you suck you still get something and the time investment is worth it compared to just doing BGs for pvp gear.

ZA (the next 10 man dungeon after Karazhan) offers pretty decent pve gear along with the badge rewards.

There are a lot of people who switch gear for PvP and PvE, since the +stats you want are usually slightly different for both. I'll use mages as an example since that's what I played. For PvE, +spell hit, +spell dmg, +spell crit are all important, with +int coming in after. Whereas in PvP, +spell dmg, +health, and +resilience are more important.

Though, for some classes, I found it's actually better to grind BGs for gear than to grind heroics, because the S1 gear is about the same or even better than the blues you can get from heroics. For mages, I think they're pretty close with PvP gear having less mana, but more life/resilience. For locks though, I think the S1 gear is better. This is especially true for aff locks whose main stats are +spell dmg and +health (which PvP gear is heavy on), since health ~ mana due to life tap.

So one way to gear up for Kara is to grind BGs, and then once you start getting Kara epics you switch those on for PvE.

I'm telling you, nothing curbs my craving like a nice session on a private server. You can do ****loads of stuff in a very short amount of time, so there's no big time commitment, and the people are just as big of losers as on retail. It's a great way to get it out without the commitment of paying for a whole month, then feeling like you wasted your money just to play for a few minutes/hours.
