also I would spend time on leveling your profession.
I'm an gnome engineer and at low levels I can have some sweet items.

can you say massive crit?:

it is prolly the most powerful trinket at low levels. popping this babe mid battle can really create a loss into a victory.

if you are a level 40, you can grind in stranglethorn veil (till mid 40's prolly) and try to pick up this thing whenever the chest drops. though it can be time consuming if you are not stationed in STV (flying and what not).

the chest usually drops a few other items, somtime you can get a nice rare item, or a decent uncommon item that can be sold from 5g - 50g (on my server) .

if your just trying to level to 70, this trinket might not be worth the time.
I would suggest not buying the lesser trinket and saving up for the one with +20 resil. It's a waste of 7k honor because you're going to need the +20 resil in the future.

What the hell do I do now? From when I was 20 my goal was to get the mount. Now I have it and I don't have many goals. Anything cool at 50? 60? Best places to quest?

At 60 you get your epic mount which is much faster than your mount at 40, which costs around 600g. Once you get into the outlands you can get a slow flying mount for around 1k, and an amazingly fast flying mount for 5k.

I need to do the AH dance I think, I had a bank alt that just stored stuff up over time, sold it all and I'm at about 11k gold with my main having his epic. I want to get my alt his epic flyer but it seems like kind of a waste so I've been putting it off.

I want to go into the xpac with at least 15k gold so when I start a DK I can power level Inscription real quick

1k a day is a snap but that honor grind for the s1 weapon really sucks. now that you can turn in medals for honor it's a hell of alot easier.
Indeed! I just knocked out like 4500 honor tonight in about 2-3 hours. Not bad at all. Just bloody hate getting stuck in horrible AV games..

Grinding medals for honor kindof suck though because of WSG being terrible to play.

I think just doing AV over and over again is probably the best way to grind Honor.

The only time this isn't the case generally is if queues are long or you have a good 10-15 man premade and it's wsg/ab weekend.

Gah the auction house goes much slower at higher levels. I still make a huge profit on everything I sell, but it takes a lot longer for it to turn around than it did at low levels.

This could be because there aren't too many high level characters on my realm yet.

I've been selling Greater Nether Essences and Greater Eternal Essences for the most $$. The dusts at those levels don't sell as fast either.

Any ideas on some other high level items I can get into selling? I'm level 40 and have ~400 gold or so to work with. This server is very new, so keep that in mind.

Check out www.mmoauctioneer.com and google for a blog called Og's Ledger. The latter one hasnt been updated in quite some time but still has some good info on it.

On my server, Icecrown, it's all about Gems from Prospecting. The people who make the most money buys all the Gems, all the ore, and are the Gem Mafia. If someone tries to undercut, they just buy em out and essentially strong-arm the community into paying their prices for Gems.

As an enchanter, selling dust now, especially high end dust is dead due to all the greens people get from Dailies Goodies Bags. However I make a good profit buying Void Crystals and using Void Shatter daily to turn them into 2 Large Prismatic Shards. It's essentially turning 25 gold into 50 gold every day by just doing this.

WSG is terrible because it's the only BG that takes real strategy imo. I'm a druid so I know a really good strategy that I try to stress to my teammates before each game but it's hard getting people to listen. I dont understand why the whole team rushes to the opposing base at the start of them game when they never D. 2 druids can flag run all day with the rest on D and it's pretty much a guaranteed win.

Before I transferred off of Illidan-PVP my guild would 10man preform WSG. We also mounted and rushed the base, then killed with out flag on the way back, repeat. Won constantly. Only game it was tough to win was when they would make it to their GY with our flag and turtle, then it took forever when going against another preform that did that. I had 100 of each medal for a long time.

AV, broheim. 1.) It was the daily and 2.) AV weekend.

I was so used to being a healer in bgs and not getting much honor. This whole dps thing is rockin'!

I figured out a good strategy for Arathi Basin.

Assault the Blacksmith and take control of that. Then leave a Rogue and someone else, maybe a 3rd. Take the Lumber Mill. Someone at the BS watch the Farm and Stables, and then watch the paths leading to the LM and call out when the enemy is on their way up, and which side, so it might be something like "Warrior to LM from South." Then you can take the farm and stables, and have around 3 bases. Leave the Mine alone, let horde have it, because you won't be able to see it from the BS.

I've done this 2 times and it has worked wonders. The only thing that sucks is when you get a group of horde to come assault the BS and try to take it back, you have to hurry up and try to get a group there so they don't take control of it.

A good strategy for AB is:
1) Fight at the flags.
2) If your team is losing, either defend a base or try to capture one, fighting anywhere else is a waste.
3) Call for incomings.
4) If you're gonna help someone that called incoming - look at the map and see if there are people from your team there already, if so; don't go!

Too bad that 90% of everyone playing doesn't follow these simple rules.

Seems to be onsetting with you a lot earlier than it did with me.

I had my first char, got to 60, lost interest.

Came back and brought 2 alts to like 45, quit again.

Got main to 70 in BC, then quit again.

Finally a month ago start a new lock to 35, quit again.

So standard for me.

i got a warrior to 49 in mid 2006, then a mage to 47 january-march 2007. countless alts between 19-28 though. the thing with me is the transitions. i hate leaving a zone behind with good quests still to be done, but it has to happen if you grind at all.

In a 24 hour period, I just got exalted with Shattered Sun and Shatari Skyguard, got the necklace and trinket respectively, got my 24 slot quiver made, and purchased my epic pvp shoulders, which look PIMP if I may say so. Oh, and made 1200g after selling the purple tank rifle, a feat which took all of 1 day to gather mats and 45 seconds of spamming the trade channel once. It was a good day.

But now I think I'mma go buy a kite. Then tomorrow, fly it. Time to unplug.

well, looks like I am gonna start an alt on a new server.
mainly I realized my server = all 70's and so there is not much action in lower level instances, etc...

Spine Breaker = ill be on horde side.

Well I'v played a lock (my main) up to 35 (im gunna stay at 39, and play BGs)
And I really like casters.
So what should I roll?

Priest, Mage, Druid, Shammy?
I like DoTs
I like + spell damage
Healing might seem cool. But having a ton of spells in my arsenal is the key. I dont wanna just click 1 button.

My lock is so fun b/c there's just a ton of options I face when attacking. I would like to have the same w/ my next character.

Any advice?

I don't really understand why do you want to run low level instances so badly to the point you are going to reroll on a different server?

Why not roll on Cairne (alliance) with me? Eh? Eh?
