It might be taboo, but www.reddit.com/r/diablo is where I get my diablo 3 news... and it's normally as up to date as anything else.

I know that 2 people I know just got invites within the last month.

Beta seems like it has been down for 3 days. Or I have TERRIBLE timing.

My kids are driving me crazy with the questions. Instead of the stereotypical "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" I'm getting, "Is it working yet? Is it working yet? Is it working yet? Is it working yet?"

Agreed. I got into the beta a couple days ago like many others. I have lots of time (relatively speaking) to play until 12/15 or so, and so far the servers have been down 90% of the time. Of course, it isn't really coincidental or bad luck that the outages come after a large wave of invites.

I fully support anyone who hasn't gotten invited yet if they want to stab us in the neck for complaining about downtime when they would kill to have an invite at all.

ME3 can't ever be most anticipated, wtf. Although I suppose most games that are bought nowadays are bought by 15-18 year olds that have no clue about the best game of all time
