how do they choose who they want to give the beta key invites to? i opted like over a year ago with a near top of the line computer and still didn't get an invite. yes mad very mad.

Don't fret, despite their posts it appears invites haven't really gone out yet, there's only like 50-60 people playing it. I would think in the next few days they will though, possibly tomorrow, thus their heads up post.

is there still in game trading between players?

and in that vein, any ideas on which forums will be best for dealing? there going to be a d3 equivalent of d2jsp or incgamers for setting up deals?

Betas aren't supposed to be "let's give all the fanboys a chance to try our game before the release, y0" trial periods...

Blizzard is kinda known for having ridiculously large open beta testings, tho... Still not sure why everyone feels so confident that they'd actually invite more than like 2% of all applicants?

pretty sure I beta tested the warcraft 3 expansions with like 30 000 people playing the ladder
