In the years and years I played D2, I never found a wind force, soj or any other uber items. I really hope with the new system items don't start falling off trees

finding a UID windforce in D2 was one of the greatest moments of my life

also found plate of the whale in diablo 1 which was awesome. of course everyone just hacked the **** out of that game so it wasnt that special.

lol me neither, rarest item i found was a head gear that i found and traded for 3 SoJ which was a total ripoff for me i found out later.

Almost got a shaft once but died right before i picked it up and a friend picked it up

Had a windforce that someone kindly gave to me for my ****ty kuku bow during PvP, was awesome! To this day I have no idea why he gave it to me.

i was always amazed by the fact that duped sojs turned into the de facto currency of D2 after they patched the dupe exploit

What do you guys plan to do in playing HC vs SC?

Go straight HC? Play some SC to see the game mechanics then HC? SC all the way through then HC?

I really love the HC aspect of this game but I was never really into it that much in D2 so I don't know how safe I should be playing.

I'm guessing HC has a separate AH and RMAH than SC right?

Get to level 10 to unlock HC.
Play HC from this point on.
Definitely play through the game until the end of hell (at least) before touching SC again.

Maybe play SC at some point just to have stress free sessions or play with friends who refuse to play HC.

The best part of D2 was building an awesome character with godly items and then getting pked or lag-dying and hating life for about a week and swearing off the game. But I always came back for more!

if there is something that will make sc2 feel like it is stress free, i dont want to know what it is

if i play sc2 on less than 6 hours of sleep it's gt'd 10 game losing streak

Fuel: Steak, salmon, rice, chicken, fruit, veggies, salad, cheese, tea (decaffinated), juice and water.

Over / under on how long I can marathon game for with no energy drinks / caffeine / drugs? Sleeping now for 5 hrs, waking up to shower / eat before attempting a 48-72 hr grind. I'll be streaming my descent into madness / dirtbaggery as well.

i was awake for 40 hours a couple days ago and then 30 hours today (last 2 finals of my law skewl career), so i dont think i can do any marathons. plus big job interview tmw...

but im going for at least 6 hours after launch then i gotta sleep for my interview unfortunately.

With the way D3 is setup I don't mind losing the actual character, it's the gear that I'm uncertain of how I will react to when I inevitably lose it.

After 430 hours you finally find a really amazing chest piece that's heaps better than anything you've gotten at this point. You socket it with a rank 14 gem and multiple near max level gems.

You play normally as you've been playing but get killed due to some combination that you've never seen before less than 2 hours after finding your new armor.

Do you:

A) /wrists
B) Rage uninstall
C) Laugh and re-roll
D) Throw up a little in your mouth but eventually re-roll

I will never forget the moment I found mine. It was in the Crystalline Passage. I just like did a double take when I saw the brown Hydra Bow. Awesome experience and it was 8 ml.

But that's the only super rare thing I ever found myself.

Currently installing and no errors yet, if all goes well I may be getting up at 5 am.
