Been toying around with the idea of playing some D2 with a ladder reset coming up. After reading up on some forums (mostly d2jsp and googling) and playing for a bit, I think I'm going to do something a little crazy and try the D2 Classic Hardcore ladder on USEast. There are also some good private servers, mods, or just the regular old LOD stuff as well on battle.net. I'm sure most people here would prefer to grind LOD softcore. I'm personally just a casual these days and I'm not too interested in competing with twinkers/botters/hackers so I think the Hardclore-Classic might be a better place for me. I also really enjoyed classic D2... Though I might end up dieing and giving up. Also, if anyone on here is playing a different mode I'm probably more inclined to join up with them or just play multiple modes.

No guarantee that I'll be playing a lot but still wanted to start a thread.

I recommend installing LOD + Sven's glide wrapper even if playing classic for best resolution / video experience.
