this dropped for me after my 1st Nightfall last week-just started leveling it up after Icebreaker. the radar on + active camo perks should be fun, plus the void dmg. 3 rd clip is a def negative (dumps to 4^ w perk).


i feel for all of you running bad at the Raid. I've been through twice now. 1st yielded Arms and Legs. 2nd: Chest, Helm, Found Verdict legendary shotgun, Vex Mythoclast, and Timebreaker (plus shard, energy ofc).

Beat Atheon legit #1 with 2 vets and 4 rooks. Took like 4-5 hrs? For #2, we couldnt beat the gatekeeper bc we had 2 26s that couldnt break double digit kills. 1 guy cried and left and a 29 ringer stepped it. Crushed gatekeeper 1st try, then the ringer asked us if we wanted to cheese it on hardmode.
Felt wrong but I couldnt say no.

So xur showed up with a suros regime exotic auto rifle but it cost 23 strange coins and I only have 20 and already did the weekly today. What do I do I need that gun

I've found like 20 strange coins this week somehow... mostly from strikes/chests. I been hit with the good luck lately. I was averaging 2-3 from every 4 lvl 24 strike runs. I'm running really hot with loot except for raid armor... and Xur just happens to show up with nothing I need. If you get a good group for the strikes they are a breeze.

Did the weekly on hard to get the 3 coins to get the Suros, would have been easier if I had remembered to swap in one of my Exotics... doh!

If I randomly get gear for other classes should I just sell it as I can't use it? Or can it be transferred over if I make another character?

Open 4 Gold chests on mars 4th is always a strange coin

Make a new character and do the level 12 story mission on Venus. The kell king one. Reward is a strange coin. Unlock mars on this new character and open the 4 gold chests again.

Do the daily public event Friday and Saturday and you might get one as a reward too.

I needed three last week and did the above. Was annoying but only took like 8 hours over the weekend and I ended up with a new second character as a bonus.

My main is 29 and my alts 27/26...alts should be up there soon too.

Not sure if I should get suros or voidfang....ice breaker will probably limit how much I suros especially in pve since I have vanquisher and shadow price.

Whenever you guys do strikes do you use the strike playlist or go to the planet then pick the strike from there? I've been using the strike playlist and it seems like it's a better option to just play any of them on 24 and get rewards.

I was using Atheon's Epilogue for a while and switched back to Suros... forgot how good it was. The gun is a straight up beast.

might as well just get it unless youre hurting for DEM COINS. i have shadow price, grim citizen, vanquisher, epilogue, and hard light and still picked up the SUROS today. if anything it'll sit on my alt so i don't have to shift guns back forth over and over.

um yeah get the suros

I'm gonna pick up a Suros of course, missed it last time from lack of coins. Will need to run the Weekly to afford anything else, and kinda torn. The repeat Armamentarium this week is a ton better roll than last week's (which I bought and mostly levelled already) - 131 base discipline vs only 104 on last week's. I'd quite like Vestments, and have been wanting something +strength on warlock (tho a fairly low roll here). No need for a glove engram I have all 3 possible already, and Hunter Alpha Lupi I can prob live without, especially a +strength one until I start levelling bladedancer.

Just used the mote of light to get an exotic engram and i was lucky enough to get gauntlets for my Titan.

FYI, motes of light can be used for an entrance into the next PVP event they run.

I suggest saving them when possible.

I'm conflicted on getting this chest piece or not, I'm not sure how much I should be worried about the roll on the item, but it seems like waiting for great rolls is definitely a +EV move if you are already at 30.

lol, haven't spent a single strange coin, yet, still only have 17...
Ah well. Not sure if the lupi is worth it.

its a nice PVP piece for hunters but youre prob better off waiting for one of the head pieces

me too. wanna get the suros fully maxxed for a nice comparison. i'm expecting suros to be better for PVE (where hard light's range issues are more apparent) and HL to be better for PVP (mostly close-mid quarter combat where fire rate and stability are king and penetrating bullets are nice too)

at the end of the day its prob like splitting hairs bc when im in PVP it seems like i win/lose an even amount of battles vs suros peeps

Is Suros regime really worth it if you have the ice breaker? I haven't taken it out of my secondary spot once, and actually broke down Super Good Advice for ascendant energy just because I'll never have a chance to use it.

I've got the Shadow Price and Ice Breaker fully maxed out.

there will be times when you don't want to use the ice breaker. example A: this week's nightfall where you want an arc damage sniper instead.

if you pvp youre not gonna want to use IB a whole lot either
