Beat the hard raid last night. Was 387 at the start, finished at 389. First two sections were a huge pain in the ass. Final two phases actually aren't bad at all, not much more difficult than normal. Just another mechanic. Communication is key.
if youre doing it to get the reward, just do the strike with a normal helmet, and then right before you defeat the final boss, swap it out for the saladin mask. worked for me.
Of course the next Iron Banner takes place while I am still away lol. Then again it's Control and I usually run solo, so probably saving quite a few rage quits.
the gear doesnt seem that great either. i also got the pulse rifle as a drop in my first match, so there doesnt seem much reason to keep going other than for the fun i suppose.
Not even sure I will get to enjoy much of the SRL, working EPT Prague and only come back on December 20th.
It's hilarious how apparent the lack of understanding in team game modes is in the current Crucible. No flanking, helping team mates ... nahhh let's run in blind and get nuked by 2-3 opponents. Not sure if I run bad as solo with finding somewhat clever groups or not, but it's getting ridiculous.
Im playing the revamped Skyrim right now. I need a break for a bit. When I get back on I'll hit you up to run the raid with my regular group. I'll probably be back on full time come January.
No idea what will happen next year. Didn't get Aussie Millions and I very much doubt Bahamas, that was never remotely in consideration anyways. Was contemplating to go off the grid for a month or two at some point to travel around with my camera and cleanse my body and soul.
