Maybe I'll go back to leveling factions then. The stuff I get from Vanguard is cool but I don't think I use any of it. Might as well try from a different pool.

If you're interested in trying to snag a really great randomly rolled gun for crucible - new monarchy is the ONLY way to go. One word: Judgement.

I'm currently levelling up all 3 of my toons in NM trying to pull an epic vanq or judgement, hasn't happened yet, though I've received like 3-4 judgements over the last few months, none were great rolls.

I've got two chars on NM right now - got a decent vanquisher crowd control / field scout / fast-reload when empty, would like a Judgement + shot package, and their sniper is pretty beastly for crucible too I believe.

Another Raid week, more crappy returns. After last weeks gutter ball 0 loot raid this week I got a total of 4 Shards and duplicate boots. Oi vey.

Xur sucks pretty bad this week, but, I desperately needed this warlock hat. It's been my dirty secret that I haven't been able to regenerate health in any way. Now, I will be able to and I'm sure it will lead to many more deaths.

meh, can't ever complain with Xur selling Icebreaker - everyone needs one (or more!)

Light beyond Nemesis is great for hurt warlocks, and Helm of inmost light is a fantastic PVP helmet - prob best exotic for PVP striker titan, it's what I choose most of the time anyhow.

no heavy again sucks, and I guess no engram sucks for those with a ton of motes - but Iron banner next week, motes much better spent there imo unless you're really short on exotics.

Has anyone been able to solo the bridge (no cheese)? It's been a while but I could have sworn you can build the bridge quicker than it de constructs, kill the sword bearer and get across.

It seems the bridge de constructed quicker than it formed and the damn sword bearer doesn't seem like he wants to hang out in the middle area close enough so I can kill him and get the sword quickly before the bridge goes away. I am doing this on my hunter with the bladedancer and dont touch me gloves so I am able to stay alive for the most part it seems...just can't put it all together so far.

Thoughts?

We were able to take out the deathsinger with 4 on normal 2 32s, 1 31, and a 29 which was pretty strong today at least . I'll be looking to hopefully raid some more tonight spimp13


Edit: I was trying this without the thrall despawn method so I may have to do that to make him come to the middle and stay there vs me going to the side to get him causing the bridge to collapse.

There's a way to jump over without the bridge

I think I read you need the perk that the sword wielder has extra agility to do the jump from the left pillar swinging the sword multiple times to get across? I think one of my characters has the armor that has that perk, but will have to look closer.

No bigge just seeing if anyone here has done it solo as it has an exotic drop chance in case I can't find anyone to run the raid with in a week...wouldn't want to miss out on the drop.

I'd be down for a raid in about 20 if anyone is doing one. Already done normal Crota this week, but I'd do VOG normal or hard or try Crota hard. It would be the first time on Crota hard for me, but I'm a 32 Hunter. Psn elronncee

For crossing the bridge - just grab the sword then get on the rock near the right side totem (facing the end), swing your way to victory (avoid death zones by getting to the middle and sharply turning to the end of the bridge!). Every class can do it, use highest jumps I think. Personally on my hunter I don't do that exact method. I go triple jump with max agility and head for the little rock ledge to the left of the end of the bridge, instead of the bridge platform itself. You gotta swing to the unformed bridge first to avoid death zones, then use your last jump and swing at that rock ledge and your momentum will glide you up to a part you can finally jump up from.

Little side brag: I finally got flawless raider solo this week! Took me like 3-4 weeks of soloing CE before getting that perfect run.

Had a more successful just Crota finish loot wise with my Titan.

Got shards, a shader, an avatar and song of ir yut. Not too bad.

You don't happen to have a video of you doing this by chance? Some people call left right etc so just trying to picture which pillars you are talking about. I have seen one video where a hunter does it from far left pillar (left if you are facing forward from the start). He does a double jump, swings the sword multiple times, and then the third jump with more swinging. Someone in the comments mentioned you needed the armor perk of the sword bearer agility to do it....just curious on seeing both ways you are talking about.

I've knocked out all the bounties I wanted to get done today so only things left to do are to either do a team raid, farm roc strikes to get materials for titan to upgrade helmets, or practice titan lamps on hard....even warlock on normal which I struggle with.

I don't have a video but I watched one on youtube I'm sure the day the patch dropped... though I can't find it for you. Try searching for crota bridge post patch or something. I'll see if I can find the one, what class are you gonna use?
