Does anyone know where the soccer ball is in the tower? I can find the big black ball but tonight someone appeared with a soccer ball after our black ball went over the edge.

Such great fun chasing a ball around with like ten randoms lol.

I believe it starts next to the boxes to the west of the vaults, under that upstairs awning.

Yeah we were playing 2v2 soccer using the postmaster and the decrypt guy as soccer goals but it ended too soon as the ball flew over the edge. Also had about 10 guys dancing together out of nowhere and couldn't control my laughter. Easily wins game of the year imo

Think if you tap the jump button after a double jump the same thing happens.

Found out a cool thing before, not really sure when this happens but it wasn't available earlier, it used to be only two - normal and hard(+2 levels or so). I guess when you hit 20 the rest of the difficulties open up for the normal story missions:



Was a little concerned I has spoiled myself levelling to 20 before completing the story, and I'd have to just rampage through a load of "level 12 story" with my one-hit-kill everythings - but no! They provide some serious challenge with the "heroic" modifier enabled, I died a lot of times on that mission where you deploy the ghost and then fight some waves of enemies while he works

Also unlocked some daily and weekly super-hard missions - same story mission as before, but with more modifiers on. The one I did was Old Russia's "The Warmind" Along with "Heroic", it had "enemy melee attacks are far more damaging than usual". Was intense!

So yeah don't worry about over-levelling yourself

Barely started, when does option for crucible show up? Only level 5. Still figuring this game out.

It should be there at 5 - go see the crucible guy downstairs in the tower, on the way to the vanguard story people. He should have a green action icon on him, and give an invitation to the crucible. Or maybe it comes in the postmaster which you take to the crucible guy, not sure.

Yeah it opens at level 5 but unless you go back to the tower you wouldn't know. There will be a green quest icon when you go to the tower. After you talk to the Crucible guy the postmaster will have a crucible bounty for you.

Has anyone grinded levels in the Crucible?

I know multiple people who have, I have not

This is game is a lot of fun and its a lot better playing with friends or other people. Played the first strike mission on earth last night and it was awesome! it was definitely pretty hard and my team died a few times trying to beat it. There is a loot chest at the very end of the mission underneath some stairs. Couple questions.. When you beat a strike mission, can you replay it and still get new loot? Does the mission increase in difficulty too?

I'm playing as a level 10 Titan right now and my primary weapons are lacking right now... Any one else having trouble finding a good primary weapon? My buddy is a lever 10 warlock and has some sick primaries already.

Also, I'm confused with the whole level 20 max? because I see others at 20+

You can do each strike an infinite number of times, and continue to get loot that scales with you. You can up the difficulty of each attempt, as well, by clicking on the "NORMAL" thing at the bottom of the loading screen and upping it to Heroic, Legendary, etc.

The golden chests won't respawn though, those are one-time deals.

Your experience level is capped at 20. After you hit that, you continue to gain experience, but it benefits only your class and your gear. Gear at that level has a trait called "Light." As your Light increases, your character's effective level will increase to a cap of 30 (currently). I suspect this will creep up over time as the game expands, similar to other MMOs.

Am I the only one who has yet to find a golden chest yet? What's the difference between them and the normal little chests?

They have preset locations, you can only get them once, and there are 5 per planet. The contents are set levels so don't bother waiting to get them later, open them when you are at the appropriate level.
