IN. I got it preordered but probably won't be able to pick it up until tomorrow evening. Dark Souls is like top 3 games of all time for me, and I feel like this is gonna 1up it. Sooooooo pumped.

You are right. I have no right to critique in how the DS2 op is if i dont do it myself. Was just expecting more since my expectations for the game is skyhigh. Sorry

I actually did do a search prior to creating it and was very surprised one hadn't been created much earlier like someone else mentioned. I am definitely not the best with these things...I am excited to play the game tomorrow assuming I am able to nab one. Let's keep this thread rolling and my apologies for lack of pics in the initial post.

I dunno it obv depends on how you personally feel about PC versions. I don't mod, I don't feel I miss out on anything by not modding, and I think controllers are way superior for action games like this.

Spoilers won't be a problem unless you're a tard and read everything without thinking about what the post is going to be about.

NeoGAF post about how crappy DS2 looks on the consoles compared to the marketing videos we've been fed, same thing as with Watch Dogs. Not so confident about a well done PC port now, but at least we have Durante!

I'm starting to hate NeoGAF, are they like the Reddit of video games or something where internet nerds have to freak out about ALL OF THE THINGS? I don't even understand what I'm supposed to be seeing. The first screenshot labeled "demo" looks terrible unless all of the walls are supposed to be covered in oil.

Watching the comparison videos I still don't understand what their complaint is. The March video isn't as bright as the January video? For all we know this is an aesthetic change because they didn't want that area to look like it was consistently bathing in the glow of lava so they darkened it up a bit. That's insanely more likely than the suggestion that lighting features were removed from the game engine literally days before it had to be done (for a game with a March 11 release date, there's not much if anything that's going to be changing in February).

The retail shots and videos floating around all look like most of the lighting effects have been stripped out. If you don't notice that then more power to you, but it looks like a pretty blatant visual downgrade to me. Also, someone high up at From just tweeted
