Amazon tracking doesn't report the real status of release date deliveries, so I wouldn't worry too much. I did get my shipping notice for DS late last night though.

Its awesome. ldo I guess. Feels almost exactly like Demons Souls...although there is a slight difference in the timing of my standard style sword swing, I think.

Just set up my first character went pyromancer with the ring that regenrates HP when equipped [don't remember what it's called]. Will report back after a few hours of play.

That ring actually adds a bit to your HP, it doesn't regenerate it (if the video was correct).

Yep. Just what I expected. Gorgeous, and dying a lot.
I won't discuss details here yet so I don't spoil, but I am enjoying digging in thus far. Still unsure of my choice of class. I have a fireball spell to start, but my combat skills are apparently awful.

The class that starts as a caveman with a club and loin cloth cracked me up, though.

Yeah not gonna spoil anything either but so far this feels exactly like Demon's Souls just better in every aspect. Combat and stuff like changing weapon loadouts is noticeably improved.

This game is better than Demon's Souls in literally everyway possible and I'm only like on section 1.2 I think. Seems a little more linear, though? When do we think it's appropriate to talk about specific stages/enemies/etc?

It's weird. I bought GoW3 and then decided not to play it so sold it to a friend unopened. But this particular game looks really good and I'm probably gonna pick it up. I like tough games, so many big titles like RDR are ridiculously easy on default settings.

Yeah I know this post sucks but reading this last page of posts leans me towards picking it up this week. Thanks I suppose.

If I start asking questions and stuff here, this is going to become a thread with nothing but spoiler tags...has anyone found a good online discussion forum or wiki for the game yet? There's stuff immediately after the Asylum Demon that is already being waaaay harder than it seems it should be.

That said, I remember the first time I encountered a blue eyes knight in the first game and it seemed like I was fighting a boss. Turned out I should have walked a different path. Maybe I'm doing the same thing here
