Of all the Minecraft clones coming out, this is the only one that's captured my attention. It looks like an interesting blend of Minecraft's visuals, Terraria's gameplay and WoW. Basically, it looks like what Minecraft could've been if Notch was a better programmer and designer
A paid alpha just went up yesterday, but got taken down after their store server crashed it looks like.
Ya that'll be a downer for some, but personally I hate games that half-ass the gameplay and leave it to their players to make it actually interesting (*cough* Minecraft *cough* Skyrim *cough*). If it becomes as successful as it looks like it's going to be, I'm sure he'll add it in, but right now it's just one guy and his wife doing everything, which is amazing.
I sure hope it won't come out very shallow... This wollay dude sure wants to limit what is actually possible instead of giving the player all the freedom ( like in minecraft ).

MC isn't the way it is because of 'half-ass gameplay' or bad design.
If you don't like mc and prefer other types of games, that's fine, but it's not because there's something wrong with the design or gameplay of it.
Their store is still down, but I happened across Martyn from Yogscast doing a series on it starting from the beginning with no idea how to play the game.
This game (if that's the right word) is such a mind****.
Nothing's happened for 3-4 years, you can't even buy it anymore, but the guy developing (if that's the right word) it is doing "hi-guys-i-just-added-some-music'-tweets.
Bought the alpha 6 years ago, played for probably an hour one afternoon and never again. Went to their website and logged into my account and I have a Steam beta key for the game.
Checked the Steam forum and the game doesn't run on Windows 7 so if anyone wants the beta key (I assume it will work when the game releases as well) just post here.
Zelda meets Minecraft! I look forward to giving it a spin. I admit having relatively low spec requirements, being in development for 6+ years but requiring Windows 8.1+ seems odd.
I wonder if the upcoming Minecraft Dungeons made the developer nervous?
