Just explain to your team that you can't win if you keep buying ****ty guns. It worked some of the time when I was a silver

I also eco less at higher ranks than as like MG1-MGE because players understand how to play with specific weapons better.

noticed in pro games they often get armor and a pistol. is like p250 + armorhelm really better than like a p90 or mp7 with no armor? i pretty much always go with smg in that scenario.

wouldnt be that they go for head shot and armor help sustain a few hits.
idk, they all buy armor so it must be right somehow.
clearly im not at the level it will make any difference.
also if I had skills at my rank I would buy prolly cause u can still carry, but at equal skill u get trashed if u dont eco.

lol

Spoiler:

The Silver 1 and Silver 2 would just camp at spawn. It was frustrating but would probably be hilarious for anyone that was watching

Is it just me or are those colors in your screenshot really vibrant?

That mge should be demoted for not carrying. He needs to drop at least 50 in that game

Vibrant in a good or bad way? I use this:

In his defense, the silvers weren't talking at all. It was essentially 5 on 3. I know he's expected to do better than me, but w/e it's not like one game means anything. Variance ldo

Anyway that's the 2nd time I posted that itt. The point of it was to show how playing with silvers can be annoying as hell. In response to weeeez, if you want to win in silver games you gotta learn how to be a leader. If you top frag people will generally listen to what you say. Luckily I'm not in that position anymore though...I hate calling lol

I don't think your monitor will translate into a screenshot. Do you use any software or video card settings out of the ordinary? I remember seeing a post about some program to increase contrast in cs but I can't find it.

I'm guessing all this was said before somewhere, but I highly recommend doing different modes of this for at least 15-30 minutes a day, its fun anyway imo:

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile.../?id=213240871

change the shots to kill to 3-5 and practice movement with counterstrafe-stop bursts, or set size to heads and practice oneclicking AK/USP with movement/stop. Will speed up and sharpen your muscle memory development.

Also, buy a steelseries QCK+ or other similar large mousepad. Its 15 bucks, panhandle it if you need to. "Fast" sensitivity in this game is 30cm mouse moved per 360, something standard is ~45. Some people play at 90+ but they are not the norm. cm/360 is the best gauge as diff sensitivities produce diff results depending on mouse DPI, m_yaw, etc. Regardless, my point is a large mousepad is a huge upgrade as you need the space to be able to scan correctly with a sensitivity that doesn't F you for everything else (the surface seems perfect/fast too). I'm pretty sure the mousepad was the biggest upgrade for me from what I had vs zowie FK mouse/144hz monitor/steelseries cherry red switches keyboard, although I love them all

Yeah, Mouse+mousepad combo can be huge in this game. I think I probably jumped 2 ranks just because of it.

I probably have the lowest sensitivity here. I had one of those giant mouse pads in 1.6 (bigger than qck+) and it took two full swipes to do a 180. I recommend all noobs to lower their sensitivity and sit still in game. If you are ct and suck at this game just hold an angle and wait for the enemy. It's really rare you ever have to do a 180 if you are smart in this game

I use a GTX 650 Ti. The software that comes with all GeForce cards detects games and has the option to optimize performance

Spoiler:

In regards to mouse pads, I just started using a new one yesterday since I had to rearrange my rig. Now my mouse and custom keypad is on the keyboard tray of my desk. Idk if my slightly improved kdr is a direct result of the mouse pad, but I like it a lot:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

17.5'' x 14''

800 dpi (cut in half a while ago as suggested by JesseHamm), 1.35 game sensitivity

Bluef0x,

Google saturation toggler 1.2 for csgo. I recently downloaded it and it makes my color scheme so much better. I have no idea how I played without it before.

All you have to do is run the file and hit F11 in game to launch.

The rule of thumb back in the day for sensitivity was being able to do a 180 with a full swipe. The swipe is up to the individual. I rest my wrist, so for me it was 4 inches, wrist range of motion. Some people use full arm, so it could be 10+.

so i tried this out yesterday. 1 full swipe (i use wrist only as well, no arm) was doing about 260 degree turn. first went from 2.33 sensitivity down to like 1.65, but that was too much and ended up at 1.8. plan to keep dialing it down little by little as i get used to it, feels like it made me a bit more accurate as i got used to it.
