And that team that SK lost to? They would have been one of the low-seeded teams in a seeded tournament, so they still could have played+beaten SK even in a seeded tournament. SK didn't go 3-1 because of a loss to a tourney favorite; they went 3-1 because they lost to a team that would have been a low seed.
SK and Astralis don't play in a round 2 of a seeded tournament.

The real problem is when you look at teams that go 3-2. You can 3-2 and literally beat the 3-4 worst teams in the tournament whole others have to play 4 out of 5 of the best.

You do realize how the round 2, 3, and 4 matches were set, right?

Its random, no?(random as in 1-0 vs random 1-0, etc)

Immortals beat Navi, Flipside, and vega for example. That wouldn't happen in a seeded bracket. Also gambit's path to 3-0 is pretty weak.

It is random... the only stipulations that occur are that you have to have the same map wins/losses as the team your playing and you cannot play the same team twice.

I don't mind the swiss format now and again but using it for every tournament might get kinda boring. The only thing I don't like is that these games are BO1.

I understand they don't have time to do BO3 for every game, However I would like to see BO3 for knockout games I mean they did have a day off so maybe they could use that time in some way, but even then I still don't think they would have enough time as they want to stream every single game.

Would be cool to see a replay of the match VP vs Astralis in the final with VP winning.

I prefer GSL system, but guess that requires some sort of seeding system that Valve isn't interested in using? It seems kinda dumb that it's all BO1s which do really discount a team having a deep map pool.

AFAIK Waylander is the only member of a CIS team not from a CIS country.
Hope you booked this

Sickest play I've seen in a while. I think even he was shocked that he got 2 players.

meh they did have a good tournament but I don't see them contending a ton, I mean I don't think any of the bigger teams played that great tbh. So when they do get to their normal levels then I think Immortals will carry on being a tier 2 team.

It was just a weird tourney.

Dazed/Steel seem so horribly unapologetic about the whole thing, I hope Valve never unbans them. Match fixing is a cancer on any sort of competition.

Swag is the only one I feel like a two year ban is right for, since he was 17(?) at the time, and we've all done dumb **** at that age.

LOL finally returned to the game siince playing the first season of ESEA-IM. Nice to know those 4 stat trak M4A4 howls I unboxed jumped for 300 to over 1.5k (2 factory new and 2 minimal wear). Too bad i sold them at ~300 each. I guess Value felt bad for me. I opened up ~30 glove cases and got Spearmint Minimal wear gloves (only 1 selling at the moment for $997) and some field tested Emerald Web (5 or 6 selling at around 400-450 each) on the last one case. Seems OP skins thinks they are around that price as well. Is that good place to generally price these things? Might sell these for cash and not have an expensive inventory as I don't want these to drop to **** in a year or two. Is OPSkins a good site to sell these to?

Anyone recommend a good knife around ~300-400?

Maybe I should try my luck on opening an Dragon Lore.

Anyone interested in these?

op skins is decent probs should sub if your selling higher value items as you'll only get a 5% commission instead of 10%, You just got to be careful on what you are selling because if they are not semi rare then I think they can become pretty cheap on op skins as people trying to quick sell their items.

Gotcha, I opened a few other cases as well a few months back and sold it instantly to them with small commission via paypal so I had good experiences before, just kind of afraid to do like ~1.2k transaciton.

G2 and Navi looked to be in complete disarray. I didn't see any of Faze's games but have to assume they were the same.

Even SK seemed to be having issues. They didn't look as coordinated as usual, but were being carried so hard by coldzera no one seemed to care.

Obviously everyone lucked out by having SK/Astralis in one semi, but honestly gambit looked the most solid of anyone.

I've sold 2k worth of stuff on there in a short time frame with no issues.

Yeah there are people doing 5 figure transactions on OPSKINS, it is probably the safest way to cash out. Just make sure you buy the premium service to reduce the cut they take on your sales
