I just started playing it as well.. Pretty fun, would be 100x better with someone that had a mic but even playing with randoms that don't talk its a good time killer

i got hooked up w/ some ******* that just left his ps3 on and connected. first wave started and he just stood still, so i think i ran thru like 13 waves solo, while trying to revive him as fast as possible.....figured whatever, i'll get all the points for it.

in the end he got xp

sick grinding skills just leaving your ps3 on and grinding xp while afk.

finally got a mic for ps3 that works, have been just playing tdm mostly because it sucks to play with randoms and most of my friends are on360.

New game mode is essentially free victories if you feel like boosting your w/l ratio. Which is sort of bull**** but I'm sure all the try hards will do it.

Nearly snapped the mw3 disc in rage earlier so popped mw2 in for a bit. Man I forgot it was actually possible to have fun in a cod game. Mw2 rocks imo. How they made such a horrible mess of it's successor is beyond me.

it's pretty boring too.

Just tried it and got into the LMG vs Juggy with knife only mode on Dome. It was 8 minutes of sitting on the stairs with 3654984 other survivors and killing the one infected over and over. No idea how the guy was supposed to kill anyone. Easy Win. Second game was Dual Pistol Juggy vs striker infected. 5 minutes of sitting in a corner, until everyone broke off in boredome and a wave of new infected formed. I was infected too and we killed the rest easily. Win.

It's incredibly boring. Either it's full camping time for the entire game and you win, or someone breaks off causing an infected wave and you win. Buuuuu!

Eh, I've enjoyed the 5-6 times I've played it, but you're right, some of the combos are pretty bad (Juggy with a knife against Juggy with magnum was simply not fun). I kind of like the hunting aspect, and am not a fan of them throwing up a UAV with a minute left. Pretty much instant game over then.

Yeah this is just stupid, it gives absolutely no incentive to be the last one alive and actually try to win because obviously they are going to find and kill you (btw if you haven't noticed everyone in the lobby gets a victory except for the last person to get infected, which is ass backwards as it promotes purposely getting infected half way through the game instead of actually trying to win and risking a loss).

I kind of like the game mode in general and it can be some quick XP as the +100 score you get for surviving does covert to XP, but I think it's probably way more fun with a full group of friends than just playing with randoms.

Ha, I don't pay much attention to win-loss since I usually play alone and thus have a ****ty win-loss, but that's lolbad giving the last alive a loss.

Game mode is at the very least entertaining to watch. Played a game this morning on Resistance where infected had knives only. A group of survivors made their way on top of one of the signs/posts that you can only get to by jumping onto a street sign then over. Pretty funny seeing all the infected line up to take a crack at jumping over, with the vast majority simply getting stabbed when they made the final jump (survivors had run out of bullets by then).

That game was also a good example of why the UAV is stupid: no one was paying attention to the numbers, and literally all of the infected (I think) were at the one sign location. UAV goes off and shows that there's one other guy on the opposite side of the map. Infected finally get the guy on the sign and then get the other guy, who would have had an epic victory w/o UAV.

I want drop zone back. It was a great way to rack up xp to unlock things after prestiging. New game is boring. Plus there were tons of fish lured by the assault packages that they couldn't get in other modes.
