What does one have to do with the other? Does Elite enhance the MW3 experience in some way I'm not familiar with?

You basically pay for all the download content in advance.

If I trade it in now paying for Elite would be a waste of money as there is still another 9 months worth of content to come that I have paid for.

Re: CoD: Black OPs 2

Lol at everyone hating on Treyarch for finally having the balls to not rest on their laurels. I was expecting another standard CoD clone but at least theyve trying to mix it up a bit.

More of the same? Well its FPS so yeah but apart from that, its set in the near future, that makes it different to every other cod game ever no? Theyre also doing levels which dont follow the standard corridor shooter format. You can actually fail in winning a battle and the story carries on so you have different outcomes. You can also go from flying a jet(not on rails) to jumping down to infantry to jumping into a tank all while the battle is going on and all by your own choice. This is a departure from the norm.

I personally gave up on MW3 after about a week because i'd finally got fed up of the franchise but i might actually get this because they have actually decided to try and make sonething a bit different from the previous games.

Part of the game is set in the 80's in afghanistan, hence the horses.

I was curious where the horses came into play. I wish the whole thing was set in the gulf war or middle eastern wars fwiw because I don't want them to **** up by trying to make **** so futuristic that it is unrealistic but I agree with you on most of your points.
