Hah - using the Romans is cheater enough to be broken... That being said, when faced with a human oppt. churning out the Praetorians, I like Axeman - with a barracks they easily hold their own.

Add me to the list that's getting ready to cut off all contact with the outside world when this comes out. Hoping that the mod community gets behind this, Civ4's playability doubled when you started clicking on Load Mod.

I have a friend who loves Civ 4 that bought Revolutions for his PS3 and he thinks its an abomination. It's like the kiddie, action version.

some people want/like a stripped down, faster version of civ4. Not surprised people differ here. I like Civ4 and hated Revs, but I can see why others think the opposite.

I loved Civ 4 and I loved Civ Rev. They're both great games as long as you appreciate them for what they are. If you play Civ Rev expecting the super-deep Civilization experience, you won't get it, because it takes like two hours to play an entire game. That doesn't make it not fun though.

I bought Civ 4 when it came out but was one of those lucky winners who got a corrupted Disc 2, so I was never able to even play it. Never got around to getting another, what a fail.

seriously though, i will buy this game and waste too much time on it like civ iv. The game is just so addicting, and having a polish civilization would be a nice bonus.
