Even Balance, who deal with PB for BFBC2 are being really slow, and just asked me to reinstall pbsvc.exe, and sent me the link (run As Admin). I turned off Comodo, even disabled Windows Firewall, but same failure.

This is under Win7 64bit (I had the same probs on my Vista64 partition).
Awesome to pay $50 for a game that doesn't even launch. I don't remember the last time such a thing has happened, maybe never.

When I just go to launch the game, nothing happens, then several minutes later I get a popup saying I need to be connected online to verify the game (or v similar msg). Having just dl'd the supposed fixes, I am clearly "connected", and with Firewall turned off...wtf?!

Was so looking forward to playing (and slightly scared, since I lost so many hours of my life playing BF2!).

Rank 10, every Medic gun unlocked but one.

did you use caps and dashes? /> = G, |o = 6 if that makes sense.

also, the code only works once. maybe you've entered it in correctly already?

i unlocked the m416 today. it is sweet.

I haven't entered it correctly because it asks for my code everytime i go to my guns and gadgets and i cannot dload the 2 maps. I used the caps and dashes exactly how it shows on the sheet of paper idk wtf the problem is.

I don't like it, doesn't feel very accurate. I like the AN-94 way more. It's super accurate, fires 2-shot bursts super fast.

they're equally accurate, actually. You might just prefer the AN-94's sight system, which would be funny because I absolutely hated it.

I don't like the 2 shot burst thing at all, if I want to fire 2 shot bursts I'll do it on my own tyvm. And the m416 is faster than the an-94. Less damage though.

They're basically equal guns, just depends on if you like the sights and 2 shot burst.

this game is SO frustrating when you have a terrible team. It's so hard for me to not just constantly insult my squad mates, though.

I actually lost that control and did insult one of them when he took my tank that I was repairing.

I'll be on tonight - is it possible to play a game with 11 XBL friends or is a squad the limit of people with which you can join a game? If it's 12 people together, we should definitely try to at least have 1 huge 2p2 team sometime.
