Hardline is nothing even close to watch dogs or GTA. BF4 is a military themed 32vs32 MP FPS with a way slower pace than COD and added tanks, jeeps, helicopters, planes and boats. It's a fantastic game if the like the pace and size. Can be bought for very cheap with premium on PC these days.

Hardline is Cops and Robbers themed and has slightly smaller maps, with no tanks and planes but with the rest of the vehicles. I have not played it yet but I'd say it's still slower paced than COD.

Does using a Flash Hider keep you off the mini map? I was never sure about this. I obviously know using a suppressor does but wasn't sure if the flash hider did the same thing. Does it just do what it says it does? Hide muzzle flash or whatever so it's harder to spot a gun firing?

Yes.
I like using it with heavy machine guns when I plan on firing lots of rounds providing suppression. I always have it on my Pecheneg.

yo, logged about 20 hrs on PC and looking for a squad to join up with some evenings in US. I'm not amazing at all, and probably avg a .8 kdr but got a mic and stuff. I Can't take it too seriously but it's a good escape from poker now and again. PM me!

You mean like you could do from day 1 of bf3? Thanks for the cool new feature.
