Doom I dont want it to be like COD, Im pretty sick of that series. Id just like a new fps that can take its place and this series is pretty awesome from the little that Ive played of it.

I just watched it again. The lighting is so awesome. I might need to abandon my 360 friends and switch over to PC for this one. Looking forward to see how this scales for consoles.

still have no idea how people play these games on consoles or even how they play on consoles at all.

I've never understood the mystery PC gamers treat console FPS games with. You play it very easily, you put one thumb on the left joystick, one on the right, and then you use the trigger to shoot. I've found the console FPS controller experience to be much better than mouse and keyboard. Where consoles fail, especially for Battlefield games, is the gameplay and size issues (both in terms of map size and number of players), and of course, reduced graphics. For those reasons, I'll be getting BF3 on the PC, but am thinking about getting an adapter so I can use my 360 controller.

i would love to see what would happen if you put console players vs pc players... i think it would be lucky if you got 5 kills in a rush map with a controller vs a keyboard and mouse.

that may be true, too. i've never played with a controller against someone with a keyboard and mouse.
