Re: Battlefield 3

I've really been enjoying this game. I'm not that good but at least I'm having fun with it, hehe. I'm still debating if I should buy Premium or not.

Guys. Why didn't anyone tell me you can kill people with the defibs?
It's a lot harder than BC2. In BC2 it was usually one shock, one kill. You have to hit them like twenty times in BF3 or I think you can hold down the trigger and continuously shock them till they drop.

I haven't tried it yet (I mean I tried a long time ago and got nothing so assumed it didn't work) but from what I've seen you have to aim just right and hold down fire for a second or two.

I wish jets would be stricken from the game.

Re: Battlefield 3

I get in them whenever I can just to practice, it usually ends up with me just flying around for a few minutes then crashing into something. It happens even quicker if I use 1st person view haha

Re: Battlefield 3

I tend to switch between 1st and 3rd person view while flying a jet. When I'm in a chopper, I stick with 1st person view.

Re: Battlefield 3

I'm having a system issue, maybe disc laser??

While playing this game, certain types of sounds stop...Like, after playing for 15 minutes none of the vehicles I'm in have any vehicle noise, but gun noises and explosions still exist...Then, maybe the weapon in front of me will disappear but I can still shoot...I did notice recently that some of the objects in the game became flat like the system couldn't process the 3D graphics on it?

Has this happened to anyone else? I havent' tried it with any other disc games. The games that I've downloaded onto the system still work flawlessly...which led me to believe it was the laser...

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

ETA: What's weird is that the game starts perfectly, but after a little time the game starts to deteriorate..

Re: Battlefield 3

Could be a problem with your RAM. I think your system is having problems, not the game.

Re: Battlefield 3

I didn't know if it's an easy fix or not...I can still stream netflix flawlessly...I might add that once the game starts to deteriorate I try to exit the game and get the black screen of death and have to manually shut the machine down as it becomes unresponsive.

I've had it since it first came out so I guess I have gotten my moneys worth.

Re: Battlefield 3

Think everyone goes through the same learning arc with jets in this game. Just sucks that nearly every server has at least 1 or 2 people that rape the skies so you rarely get more than 2 seconds practice!

i have this same problem except i have yet to try to exit the game and as a result do not get those black screens.

some times those things happen but they seem to correct themselves after a few minutes of game play.

the sound problem i have a suspicions its something to do with getting grenaded or have some artillery close to me and the game glitching.

the missing weapon i only experience it during my initial loading of the game.

all these things do correct itself out for me though so idk...my cpu is kind of dated and i suspect that is where my problems arise from.

Re: Battlefield 3

Cant believe so many people are complaining about not being able to fly jets. Flying jets and especially choppers is ridiculously easy in bf3, **** console game

Re: Battlefield 3

Yeah it's apparently very easy to fly a jet straight into a chopper.
