yeah, it's in contention w/ uncharted 2 w/ the best 20 i ever spent on a game.

arkham asylum at 20 is a no brainer- no one would really argue against that.

Re: BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY thread

I haven't gotten into a game in a while, but I think this is the perfect thing to bring me back. I'm a huge batman nerd and the first one was insanely good. This is going to be awesome. That launch trailer is sick and the reviews are fantastic so far.

Arkham Asylum is definitely a perfect warm up as you guys said. That game is pretty epic as well.

Re: BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY thread

yes physical disc, lookin for like 10 bucks for it. anyway

Arkham City is pretty gnarly

i'm only an hour in but the city element handles a lot like Assassins creed in the basic movements. I loved that game all the way thru- so i'm sure i won't tire of this

Re: BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY thread

I'm enjoying this game a lot. Other than having to restart (my account was hacked recently and didn't think I'd get it back for another 2 weeks or so and started playing and 5 hours later I got the email unlocking my account lol ) it's a lot of fun. The one thing I haven't figured out yet are the riddles. I'm going to look up what the deal is because I can find the area it's talking about or the question mark or whatever but I'm not sure what to do with them.

edit: is it just holding the left bumper for the 'environment data' thing or whatever? if it is I'm going to feel real dumb

Re: BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY thread

In Asylum, you had to take a pic with the investigative vision thingy when you found a riddle answer.

Re: BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY thread

Yup, tried it over lunch break. Hold the left bumper til it snaps a picture like thing

Good thing I had to restart I guess since now I'll be passing all those things again.

Re: BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY thread

Just a PSA for anyone who hasn't picked this up yet, KMart gives you 30 bucks towards a future game if you buy it there before 10/22.
