Finally have enough stats to not need life on hit, so nice to not have that stat limit my item options. Inspiring presence with 66k hp and 1200 resist/armor does a really good job.

They sold already 2m axe and 3m amulet. I probably could have sold amulet for more but was in a rush for gold.

crit stacking is insane

Just got a 1h with a socket and I put a 80% crit gem in it and my dps skyrocketed. I also have a lot of other pieces of crit hit and crit damage gear and the damage compounds like crazy. I'm sword and board with tough as nails, nerves of steel, and ruthlessness and I'm at 57k dps. Retired my justice lantern for a BK ring with crit hit and dmg.

Sometimes I sub out tough as nails for bul kathos' boon. I don't know if anyone else actually uses that passive but I really like it.

I was already outgearing act 3 before 1.0.3 so when the patch rolled out I changed out both armor passives for berserker rage and weapons mastery. Superstition is still epic good though can't ditch that. Fun doing 45% extra dps.

Sprint Marathon

passives: ruthless, weapon master, boon

Skip most trash, but take hits along the way, when I need fury I revenge the biggest stack I can find. Boon makes helps wotb be up when I get to the next pack

Same setup minus sprint for charge with dreadnaught. Maybe get 12% ms boots cause thats a "wasted" skill slot on sprint?

Skipping trash was a revelation for me, now I just clear an area large enough to swap gear safely for the final blow.

Feels like act3 you can play so many different specs and still be very viable... I switch at least one skill between every run now just for variation

even played a whole run with seismic slam (haven't done that successfully since hell I think...) and now I usually play with ancient spear just to pull 'em out of crap on the ground (2hander fwiw so can't tank very well without cd's)

Chest, Pants, Boots all could be more well rounded in str/vit/allres. Looks like you sacrificed on one stat or another for insane allres at a cheap price which is now costing you dps. Just have to piece it together over time. That is an awesome helm though.

If you have crazy armor and all res maybe just go pure offensive passives and let the gear do the defense?

I agree my dps isn't horrible but shielding/extra health and stuff that runs away is still very annoying. Also doing fine without LOH, last thing I need is more defensive stats.

Should start building crit based. Gloves, ammy, rings can provide this. Shields can give you 10. Once you get your crit chance up to a reasonable amount, if you find a lower dps 1h but with a socket and put a green gem in it, your dps will go way up.

Pretty close to AH market price but might have slightly overpaid by a couple mil.

But that's going by my gear stat valuation system, your valuation of stats on gears may be different.
