I use to never really use WotB either but now I feel like I can't play the game without it. It feels as mandatory for me as warcry. Its not even the damage buff that I like, the immunity to frozens/nightmares etc is invaluable and faster run speed means the ranged mobs can't kite me as efficiently.

For you WW barbs what do you think about axe/mace vs mighty weapon?
Barbarian Thread Quote

Mighty weapon makes it a lot smoother going and may actually end up providing a better damage bonus than the 15% from sword/axe because you can keep WOTB up for a much longer time because rage generation is much smoother.

Yah sustaining high damage over a long period of time probably gives you more average dps through the run. I'm gonna miss blowing up a screen full of elites though.

how does fury generation scale with different skills when using a mighty wep? I just tried one out and my ww hits are not giving close to 30 fury per hit (should of know, would be so OP). Is it the same scaling as LoH?

This upgrade made a huge improvement on my runs. I really think mighty weapon with thrive on chaos is the way to go.

Your resistances and max life appear to be garbage.

Also I'd get rid of bloodthirst.

Agreed. For Act III you need around 50K life (min) and All Res somewhere in the 900-1000 range (buffed) to be comfortable. Your armor is fine.

Also try and find a weapon that has Life on Hit if you want to tank it up. It's a good source of healing and will keep you alive.

I'd also think about trading out one of the armor passives for Superstition.

Just replace Bloodthirst with Superstition.

I pretty sure his shield suck. 19% is low unless you have a high block amount (like a sacred shield). I think shield with that graphic have a low block amount.

Unfortunately, it seems you bought all the wrong gear. Replace your worst piece of gears with the best All Res + vitality ilvl 63 blue you can afford. I'd start with pants and chest armor since they can both roll up to 200vit and 80 all res.

186 base MF! Best I could do with the budget I had ($200 RMAH, 40 mil). Only bought 1 piece of GAH actually.

Speed clearing is fun! Everyone do it. I wonder what rwar/freddy has now, accidentally deleted him from friendlist a long time ago lol. Need better weapons for more strength.

Pretty bad stuff...$4.00 boots lol

162 str
71 int
42 vit
69 AR
16 MF

There were some 179 str, 90 vit, 72 all res, 20 mf, 110 armor, 12 movement speed boots (or something close to that) that went for 130m+ on the AH earlier. Just a little bit short to get it.

I'm transitioning from sword 'n board frenzy/revenge spec to ww spec, trying to find str/vit/AR/crit/MF gear is really quite the hard, what corners are fine to cut?

(currently have decent pieces in every slot wrt str/vit/ar/mf, so it would only be helm/bracers/gloves/rings/ammy that need changing.)

budget probably 100mill or so, but the less I spend on gear the more I can spend on flipping auctions/crafting and cashing out.

Helm: Must have a socket. If you can find MF + socket is even better. Socket + crit is also just as good. This piece will be one of the hardest to find str, vit, AR, MF, socket, crit chance. Try to find at least str, vit, AR and socket. That will keep cost down.

Bracers: This one I think is a must have for crit chance unless you have crit on your helmet. If you opt for not going to for crit you will want insane defensive stats on it. 170 str/100 vit/70 AR/180 armor/17 MF minimum.

Gloves: This is where I did not opt for AR. Instead I got str, vit, physical resist, +armor, crit dmg, crit chance and MF. In this slot you can skip AR as well as long as you have most of the above things on your glove.

Rings/Amulet: These IMO are the hardest to get all the stats you want. You want at least another 300 life on hit on your jewelry somewhere (plus at least 600 on your weapons). For my rings I have str/vit/physical res/AR/crit dmg and crit chance. For my amulet I have LoH/str/armor/lightning res/crit dmg/crit chance. You can fiddle around with these to make sure you get enough offensive and defensive stats on them. The rings are probably the least important for getting MF on because they only cap at 18%. A good MF amulet with all the right stats will cost over 200 million so that will be one of the last pieces you probably upgrade.

I can take screenshots of all my gear if you want. Keep in mind this is the 3rd character I have geared up to decent levels, so anyone who had been searching for gear and farming with MF since the beginning will likely have better gear than me. It took approximately 1 week to gather all the gear.

Alright solsek you found an excuse to post/brag about your gear. Go!

That's my gear if you are interested. I put in the prices so you can get a better idea of what I paid for each piece. You should really try to find deals like the ones I found...they happen quite often, especially on the RMAH. At this point in the economy, if you imagine $2 = 1 million, most of that stuff is way underpriced. 5 million for that belt? 15 million for those rings? I'm sure they would fetch much larger prices on the GAH. To be fair though I got everything at 1d11 hours except the weapon which I won on a bid. My weapons are horrible, but those are things I don't want to get close to $250/125m to spend because those will only go down in value. I want Zefa's Bond Ire ring...higher stats than mine with magic find.

LOL FREDDY ONE STEP AHEAD OF YOU.

Not even brag though. If you have better gear then me, I miserably fail. :P

Post your gear, I want to see what you have now.

I say helm go str/ar/crit/socket(topaz). Bracers are easy since they tend to roll mf/crit. Avoid gloves/ammy too important. And split up whatever stats you need to make up over your two rings.
