Good. RMT empires always left a sour feeling.

On a different note former EVE players of this thread - if at all possible find a friend with a PSVR or PC VR headset - you must play EVE Valkyrie at least once. Flying a fighter in VR at a silky smooth 120fps zooming about in a huge fleet with Vindicator, Myrmidon, Erebus, Nyx, Vexors etc all around, when a similarly sized Amarr fleet hot-drops you is just an incredible experience. Basically feels like you're right inside one of those CCP promo videos.

I logged in all of my chars after maybe 3 years off. Alpha restrictions are pretty harsh, even for my low SP faction war alts

will probably figure a semi-decent T1 fit at some point and go lookin for some FW combat tho!

It is great to be able to log them back in and at least have a look about though!

Yeh I can't see it bringing a massive, long term player boost, but I'm sure it will bring some new players to the game, which can only be a good thing.

I'm pretty certain you could make a cool billion just by telling /r/eve you're new and got blown up.

I think this new f2p mode will work a lot better on newcomers than lapsed vets, on the "don't know what you're missing" theory. Though idk it may work on me too lol. I am tilted I can't use half my stuff, they may get a resub out of me yet! I could afford a single plex from my previous earnings, but it would leave me pretty low - have only ~2B

was enough for nearly 4 plex when I left!

Meh, the whole problem with the trial is that it takes literal time to learn anything from implants etc so what is the point of a F2P with slower learning. jackiechanwtf.jpg

Well, they got me! too tempting to be able to log in and see my stuff that I can't undock. Just carebearing it up near Jita doing some manufacturing / trading. Set up my 5 PI planets today for a low maintenance trickle of ISK (P0 + imported P1 -> P2 Coolant farms).

Yeah. It's not so bad once you collapse the portrait section and drag the rest to full height.

As to selling a char, not sure how that goes now. Extractors/Injectors may have screwed that market some (or on the flip side, set a baseline price per SP). If you can't sell it at least you can drain it's SP and sell those now lol.

my alliance was offering 4 bil for rorq pilots about a year ago, I didn't take the deal back then because I thought I could do better on the open market but that was a gross miscalculation lol
