This would hurt the group as a whole because we might miss out on some quality input from those players less willing to fully commit to the group. I would certainly attend every meeting I could, but with tons of players all over the globe I think attempting to schedule meetings that suit everyone's schedule would be difficult. Maybe members could take it upon themselves to start topic-based meetings and organize some hands to discuss, then have sign up sheets so anybody available and interested could choose to attend rather than having 3 two hour blocks per week that would need to be cleared for all members. Hopefully that clears things up, I have nothing but respect for this and am pretty pumped about the idea!
OP likened this to football practice. If you never went to practice, you'd never get better. If you never set aside a time for everyone to meet up, then nobody ever would. I think having scheduling is necessary for this particular group idea (I'm not saying all groups would require the same).
Noticed you posted this on CC too CP but I'm break-even/marginal winner at 5nl atm so I don't qualify. Hope it works out, it's a great idea. I reckon I missed the boat by a month at most
EDIT: Also if you aren't prepared to or unable to commit a minimum of 4hours to study the game, I doubt a person can ever significantly improve unless they're some kind of poker prodigy.
EDIT 2: Does me being from the UK and being at uni (read lots of spare time) swing my 5nl-ness into consideration for the group? I'd love to be a part of it if that wasn't obvious. Obv not expecting anything tho.
