I think I sucked out on him...

Villain is like a decent casual player - not the studying type I can tell in a small sample. He's playing 15/0 in 50 hands.

Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

BB: $27.80

MP: $26.40
CO: $50.00
Hero (BTN): $55.20
SB: $59.20

SB posts SB $0.25, BB posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has A Q

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $1.50, fold, BB calls $1.00

Flop: ($3.25, 2 players) J 4 Q
BB bets $0.50, Hero raises to $2.00, BB raises to $3.50, Hero calls $1.50

Raise flop bigger,
just calling the 3bet on flop is good
just calling turn is good
On the river we shove because vwe now always have the best two pair and villian prob can't lay his one down (this is even more true b/c villian short)

And villian isn't likely to have flopped a set because he would always shove river rather then betting small

Agree - what hand could you have possibly sucked out on?

HINT: QJ still beats you.

Raising serves no purpose.
Call.
The odds are just too juicy to pass on a hand that has a way ahead /way behind feel

The only hands we were behind on the flop and are ahead of on the turn we just counterfeited, so villain's second hole card (assuming he has a Q) doesn't even play. If he had J4 he's never calling, if he has Q4 he's also probably never calling, and if he had QJ he still beats us. Well he might put OP on a missed flush draw and make a crying call, but he probably only does that with Q4. So villain might even only call with one counterfeited hand.

Do you really play at this level?

"Do you really play at this level?"

Anyway.

I agree that - what - pretty much only KQ calls that we beat and a raise is ******ed. For some reason I was thinking that I now beat QJ. A one hand range of KQ is silly. Q4 is not really in there.

I often disconnect in real time and play much worse than I would when studying a hand history. I probably need to slow down.

YOur right, I forgot we are still beat by QJ. It was like 3/4 o clock in the night when i typed it and I was to tired to pay to good attention :$

And no i do not play it this level at the moment, i'm at €20NL hoping to move up in 1-2months (which is possible if I stop spazzing around)

FWIW< if villian was a loose-passive-fish i would raise river as he could have Q4 and J4 in his range
