Trouble Multitabling? Trouble Multitabling?

Hi all, recently started playing 2 NL and I was doing very well, winning consistently over about 1500 hands. I know this is a pretty small sample, but I was doing so well that I figured I would try to add a second table. Over about 1200 more hands, I have seen a slight profit, but I am certainly winning at a much smaller rate than when I only played 1 table. I have found that I have a lot more trouble focusing when I have to divide my attention between 2 tables. Should I just stick it out until it gets easier for me or should I consider going back to 1 table for now? Also, any tips on how to focus on multiple tables at once? Thanks in advance!

It could be just variance as thats a tiny sample, but its normal to miss out on ev the more tables you add just from missing reads and spots. Wait until your comfortable before adding more tables. Concentrate on whats going on and how youre thinking through your hands as you play them. As this becomes easier than you can add more tables.

Maybe you are overthinking or getting tricky in spots, I appreciate these are like learning stakes but just play a solid strat and increase the tables. You get a hand every 50 seconds on average 6max so you can definitley play 2-4 tables as if you were playing 1.

Could also try 1 tabling zoom until all your preflop and flop decisions are 100% automatic. Before adding in more tables. My game has improved a ton since I started playing zoom, in running 4 tables for nl10z now and if I ever get into a dirty situation I just sit out the other 3 and take my time with a river decision

Multi tabling was a major hurdle for me. Stick to one if it's working for you though and you are happy with your results after a decent sample(10-15k hands).

Maybe this is really obvious but make sure you are tiling the tables so you can follow the action. That was a mistake I made when I first started playing online

I'm also playing 2nl. I'm breakeven after about 29k hands. I added a second and third table relatively early, as one tabl (then two) was much too slow and I couldn't stay focused as there was so little action.
