QQ decision on AJJr flop

[converted_hand][hand_history]IPoker, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

Hero (BB): $2.14 (107 bb)
UTG: $4.10 (205 bb)
MP: $4.47 (223.5 bb)
CO: $2 (100 bb)
BTN: $2.70 (135 bb)
SB: $0.83 (41.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q Q
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.08, CO folds, BTN calls $0.08, SB folds, Hero raises to $0.40, MP calls $0.32, BTN folds

Flop: ($0.89) J J A (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $4.07

MP is a 61/22/0.7 agg. no reads. On the flop I decided to check since I don't think he would call Cbet without an A or J, and to give him the opportunity to bluff. Didn't expect jam. Could a call in this spot be profitable against this type of player?

Fold to that shove
Cbetting 0.5 and folding to a raise would have been a lot better

I think check folding this flop is fine and cbetting maybe half pot is also fine and folding to jam, I find that weak players tend to flat 3bets with Ax hands, broadways and pp, I doubt he is turning TT into a bluff here.

Pretty easy fold. Check is good on flop since it's unlikely to get called by too many worse hands when you bet and if you check your opponent will bet often.

Well he will call pretty much any PP, KQ, QT and probaby raise any Ax or Jx. Pretty easy playing poker vs these whales

Re: QQ decision on AJJr flop

Cbeting this flop felt like raising for imformation here. I feel that PPs (<TT in this case) are not calling a cbet, but could call turn bet and maybe a smallish riverbet, or they could try to take the pot by bluffing 1 street with air. I felt that we could get more profit if we let them hang themselves, and if they hit they 2 outer for a boat, we will shutdown to resistance.

I don't think Jx would play this way because why would he try to scare me out of the pot?

With KQ, QT I don't think I'm getting more than 1 street of value if I cbet, but I think he will turn this types of hand into bluffs. Also these hands are unlikely since I have 2 QQ.

A pure bluff could make sense but maybe he want us to think he is bluffing to get max value. We need to call ~ 1.60 to win ~ 4.

Is villain shoving <TT on this board?
Do you have the odds to bluff catch?
Do you have history and or reads on opponent?
Should you call?

NO

Re: QQ decision on AJJr flop

So what odds would make it profitable to bluff catch against this opponent? 4:1, 5:1 ?
I agree the bluff catch call is bad in this case given our odds.

Still, at the time I was tilted and since his line didn't make sense, I though he tried to push me out of the pot when I checked.

I called, he showed 87o, and he won the pot with runner runner straight.
