Re: **Official uNL stats thread, redux**

Alright just want an update. I've loosened up a bit from my nitty days of 16/14/3, but I'm not winning as much. I have moved up though. I have noticed latly my WTSD% has went from 25% up to 29%-ish. I have been trying to make some more hero calls when peoples lines dont make sense etc... Think it went up when I had an unsucessful attempt at nl100. is this too high? Also commets on the rest owould be appreciated.

also position is

2-15.74-15.7
3-13.05/13.05

Re: **Official uNL stats thread, redux**

Almost done playing for the 1st week in July at stars 25nl. Im satisfied with how it went, since i haven't played poker and 6max specifically in a while.

I feel like i should be opening more preflop ( ~ 21/18 maybe ) but with so much ppl limping and limp-calling im not so sure,so i have to work on that. I might be running slightly well, im not sure how much Won at showdown % should be at 6max.

If anyone has some tips or pointers, i'd appreciate it . Thanks

Hopefully moving to 50nl soon.

wow..my poker ev graph is horrible...take a look starting from hand 30,000...positive sklansky bucks but terrible variance on full tilt or is it just me?

10nl btw 6max

I lost AA vs AA LOL to a four card flush all in preflop. Tons more beats...

good thing i do a bit better on bodog at 25nl 6 max...

Hendrix your 50NL aggression stats look much better than the 25NL ones. 42% attempt to steal is huge. It can be profitable at the right tables but it could be spewy too. Sure if the blinds fold too much to steals or continuation bets raise a wide range. But if BB is a TAG who's been 3betting you too much there's nothing wrong with folding J9o OTB.
Also can you post street by street aggression? When I played 25NL I slowly changed from 5.5/2.5/1 to 5/3/1.7. Basically the first one meant I was automatically cbetting most of my hands and giving up on later streets or checking down marginal made hands. It changed as I started to bet more marginal hands on the turn against passive players, found some good situations to second barrel in and conciously forced myself to value bet thinner on the river (as well as bet/fold instead of check/call more often OOP)

Thanks,. The nl25 sample size is kind of small there which I think drops my AF down. Normally I've always run in and around 3+.

Been working on stealing from certain people like you said, and trying to adjust to the blinds. Some blinds though its simply profitable to steal with 27o imo. I don't mind stealing a lot from tags, LAGs can be a bit more difficult so I've been tightning up a bit vs. them.

I don't know how to get those stats in pokertracker 3. Any idea? I have been adjusting my post flop game latly though.

This graph actually makes me puke and any advice is appreciated. I feel like my game is "stuck" and I'm having a hard time finding ways to 'improve' even though I know my game is leaking at NL25.

Thank you in advance

*BUMP*

Anyone had a chance to look at this?

Click the screwdriver on the right. Double click on a stat to add it to the report.

Well Im checking people's stats over here who are playing 25NL/50NL. I personally play with an aggrofactor of 6. I mean is that really high for 25/50NL?. I think aggrofactor of 2.5 are just to weak. You can steal so much on 25/50NL without getting caught imo. And I'm running 9 BB/100 on 20NL now although i just played 5k hands. Anyone with comments about this?

5.5/1.7/1.1

I think these would change quite a bit with different play styles though. I play a lot of junk hands in late position, so often I'm using pot control with them.

Like say I raise J7 otb, and get a caller. flop comes dry-ish. J42r. turn bricks. I'm WA/WB, and fold out a lot of hands I beat that would float me on the turn, or just call lite, and get called by better hands. checking behind, and calling a river bet seems to be alright in a lot of these spots. And if the check to me river my line looks so fos you get some loose calls.

5k hands is to little to determine anything from. I run 5 ptbb/100-ish. But have had 5k stretches where I'm 30ptbb/100, and 5k stretch's where I'm -20ptbb/100.

6 just seems too high, but if it's working for you.

It also depends on what is making it high. High Agg Factor can come from a tight pre-flop hand selection as well as playing a version of fit or fold where fit means bet/raise. If you can figure out what makes an opponent's Agg factor so high, you can generally exploit them pretty handily IMHO. I pay a lot more attention to Agg Frequency now, since that is not as dependent on VPIP/WTSD and more one what they did when they had the opportunity.

Re: **Official uNL stats thread, redux**

ok here's my first stat post in a long time and I finally feel like I am dominating my level/reading hands well here at 50NL. This is basically the last month or so at $50NL. Need to play more hands obv.

Slush.

I'm not too good at really disecting stats, but they llok pretty good to me. 21% going to showdown seems a little low though.

But I played with you a bit today, and you seemed solid fwiw.

Re: **Official uNL stats thread, redux**

I have been playing for a couple of years as a marginal winner at low-med stakes but never with discipline in my play or bankroll management.
I have finally decided to work hard at a more profitable and disciplined style of play... with the help of all the 2+2ers.

I would much appreciate any advice on my first couple of weeks of play. This is tighter than my natural style which is more LAGy.
I have tried to tighten up but retain my aggression and play within my bankroll. My bankroll is $480 presently... and mostly I'm playing
NL20 with the odd foray into NL50 (sometimes can't help myself).

my 2007 chart.. don't want to play like this anymore!

ANYTHING WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED...

Re: **Official uNL stats thread, redux**

Ruebs it looks good from what I can see although your turn AF is pretty high and you could be losing value from hands that fold which may have given you an extra bet on the river which explains the low W$SD figure. You may be folding out too many hands you are beating which is prob. a small leak at these stakes. I would say keep playing like you are but just be aware sometimes that there's more value in checking 1pr hands on the turn rather than double barreling them.
