Hi people,

Can anyone tell me if this is the best thread to post my stats into, I play fifty50s on stars, usually $7-15.

Re: ***Official uNL Stats Checkup Thread***

I have a ****ty red line , I've made some filters for cbet/turn cbet , for stealing and they all seem decent , some even above 0 . This is were I'm bleeding money. I've deselect AA/KK/AK/QQ from Hole cards . Should I 3bet less, cbet less , 3bet more , etc.

Any advice ???

Re: ***Official uNL Stats Checkup Thread***

Hi guys, I'm struggling at 5NL on stars - my current win rate is about 1.65bb/100, which I think is pretty terrible for this level.

As you can see, I'm a nit, so I'm going to try and loosen up a bit so that my VPIP/PFR is at least 18/15. I think this would help improve my horrible Non-showdown Winnings line. Also, I think 3betting more will help me - particularly from the later positions.

Some concerns I have are that I find that a lot of people at 5NL on stars seem to be extremely aggressive when it comes to defending their blinds, and I'm frequently 3bet if I open raise a lot from the button. They'll then cbet aggressively at least the first two streets, so usually I either have to fold preflop, or prepare for an expensive post flop exchange, without really knowing where I stand.

Also, most people at this level on stars seem to cbet the flop and turn almost always (myself included, as you can see), which I find makes it hard to play post flop without the initiative. This means that I'm often reluctant to cold call from that later positions when I probably should be - this I think is largely responsible for my nitty stats. I think 3betting lighter than I currently do is a partial solution to this, but obviously I cannot do this too frequently.

Any advice would be massively appreciated!

Re: ***Official uNL Stats Checkup Thread***

@hiiamfish: Your stats look about fine. I guess the problem lies in your red line which first goes down a lot, then suddenly goes up. Could be sample size but I doubt it.
My guess is after the first half you tried a whole new style which is obv okay given you lost. But the problem is, the stats for your new style aren't in your overall stats. So you have one aggregate stat for two different styles. Which is impossible to analyze.
But maybe I'm wrong though and the red line is indeed only sample size. Which would be a bit surprising, though.

Difference between flop and turn cbet a bit too big, you're gonna get floated a lot by decent players.

You could open more hands from CO.

3-bet could be a bit bigger.

Could you post some aggregate stats? Not just for every position, but totals as well.

All I can tell so far is that you could be 3betting more pre-flop and you seem to be cbetting too much on the flop, hence why your red line is going down so steeply. Try cbetting more in spots, where you actually have equity, and cut down on your bluff cbets. Your gap between cbet flop and turn also seems high, but again, this is hard to tell without aggregate stats.

Your overall aggression is high, though without an aggression frequency it's hard to interpret.

Can give more advice if you give more info as mentioned above.

Hey I would just like a quick checkup on my stats. I feel I hero call a little too much for these stakes and level myself a lot. Really working on that recently Any big leaks or anything I could improve on?

@stlpoker: Funny, but I seem to repeat myself all the time, but... cbet more, be more aggressive.

@Fisken_: first impression: you are way too tight. Hard to believe you really won at 25NL over a reasonable sample.

Im winning 3.1bb/100 over 170k hands playing 19/15 @ Nl25
Should i start cold calling more? I cold call 9% of hands AT NL10.
