If I were you I'd stick to normal tables until you can play those profitably. It will give you a better feel for your opponents. Once you can crush those, you can start thinking about zooming.

DISCLAIMER: This is my first time commenting on another players stats and I have never used PT3 before so I may be slightly off of the meaning of some of the stats. I've actually just started using HEM2 myself, still trying to figure everything out.

I can tell you one thing that jumped out at me is your seat 3 (EP I'm assuming) stats. They are just very inconsistent with the rest of the position stats around the table. 3B of 50%? I think I am reading that right. If not, let me know. Call 3B of 40%. 4B 21%. It just seems when compared to all of the other positions, your seat 3 stats vary drastically from the rest.

This may not improve your game a ton, but I hope it helps.

3-bet and squeeze more.

4-bet more, learn to identify opponents who will stack off lighter than AA/KK, then 4-bet AK, QQ, sometimes JJ and TT. You could also try to 4-bet bluff opponents who fold to 4-bets too often (yes, those do exist even in the micros). Use fold to 4-bet stat on your HUD as an indicator of what you can and can't 4-bet.

Steal blinds more, particularly if you have nits sitting on them.

Don't cbet quite as often, 89% is a bit too high. Don't (usually) cbet on multiway flops without a hand, don't cbet air against opponents who can't fold bottom pair.

What stakes are these stats from btw?

Thanks for the advice. These stats are mainly from 4NL on merge.

Play more hands from the cutoff and much more from the button. For now you should probably play less from UTG and maybe the SB too. Even your 3bets have this problem. You're 3betting 7% from MP. That seems like a lot. You can 3bet late position opens more.

Re: ***Official uNL Stats Checkup Thread***

Hi,

I've recently switched to NL10 from NL6, got a subscription to DC and generally feel my game did improve much, but still I keep going down at a very steady pace. (Ok, sample size is slightly small)

I feel there must be something obvious I'm missing, would appreciate if anyone could have a look?

Thanks!

^ small hand sample, its like 2 of my sessions, where you can run bad/tilt a bunch etc

anyways, try to cbet some more, around 70%, and dunno, guess opening 22% UTG is working for you, but eventually it will catch up and you`ll start getting 3b alot and so on

first real month of grindig

Hi,
i was lurking around this form for some time now.
this year just finished undergrad university and tried playing some pokerz more seriously with tilt control/BRM and all that.

Played it b4 but very recreational (deposited 50 bucks and play 2 tables 25NL <-that guy we all love ).
also played seriously once b4, couple of years back, busted 5NL roll on stars, but was a complete fish b4 that, didnt know nothing about poker.

So first thing got me a HEM trial and then started grinding.
Played 2NL for 20k hands, then 4NL for 20k hands on party.

Will post some screens below.
I played 2NL just to get back into shape (sitting for 1h straight, pot odds and all that). Played very laggy to see if i can destroy game, but i couldnt so i gave up. My last 2 sessions of 2 NL i had two - 5bi days and i knew i had to change my approach. But since party only offers full ring games and i had the bankroll for 4NL (deposited 25 on party in june and got 100% rakeback deal. i did it to blow off some steam after exams and magicly i didnt lose it on 10 NL b4 i started this gig) i took a shot.
So with my rakeback, 10 buyins from 2 NL and deposit i had ~17 buyins took a shot at 4NL 6 max, ran good at the begging and didnt go back to 2NL.
In 4NL i tried to play my Agame all the time but i tend to get too laggy vs unknows. Only in mine last session i finaly managed to cut some of my bottom range out and play more agro post flop.

Below are my screens any advice is appreciated, also if you need screens from something else pls say so, but quick b4 my trial runs out

Re: first real month of grindig

4bb/100 on 2NL and 4NL is really low imo. You need to play much tighter in EP and MP. This will boost your winrate.

I feel like I've learned alot over this short period of hands, and my play is changing quite a bit (hopefully for the better). Any thoughts?

Re: ***Official uNL Stats Checkup Thread***

I have not use WTSD and W$SD so far and now I think it's a bit of a waste not using them . What's a good % for both of them ?

Also how can I read them vs villains , my guess over a few combos is the next :

a) If they have a high WTSD and small W$SD they are very profitable to vbet against as they will usually call you down w/ marginal holdings. Not good to barrel against . ( I would like some help w/ the numbers i.e. 30%<W$SD )

b) A small WTSD and high W$SD they are good TAG's and when they 2nd barrel the turn probably mean business ( same as point a) ) . I think it's exploitable to 2nd barrel against , bcz they won't take marginal holdings at a showdown.

I may be very off on this so I love to get some feedback . Thanks !

Total graph JULY 2012, general problems

Hi,

I've been playing 10 and 25NL since the beginning of February 2012 and had good success until the beginning of May where I descended into a downswing which cost me quite a lot of money which sort of never really stopped. I used to play quite aggro, 3betting close to 9%, couldn't give up pots and for a long time, that worked, seeing as my nonSD and SD were going up at a close to evenly rate, indicating that I was playing a close to perfect style of play for a duration of 60k hands. I was beating the game at a rate of 10bb+/100. I'm not a full time player, so I play approx 20k hands a month. At the end of June I decided to seriously work on my game and I read The Poker Blueprint, which taught me to think more and not act on instinct alone. In July I started to grind again and the above graphic is the result. A good friend of mine, with whom I talk strategy a lot, told me that although I ran quite a lot under EV, I should've probably earned more in EVdollars then I did. If some of you guys recognise this pattern and have some good insights on the matter, please don't hestitate to post them. Tnx

My stats for this sample:
VPIP: 20.90
PFR:17
3BTot: 7.30
Foldto3B: 73.76
TotalAF: 3.54
TotalAFq: 58.07
