Yeah I was lolling at people thinking it was actually like theyd discovered God.
Also it is good I guess, because as far as I understand it all the particle Physics we learnt in school would be incorrect if this didnt exist.

yup the whole standard model which explains the creation and the structure of the universe would be incorrect or at least would require some tweaking. Although Higgs boson doesn't answer to all the questions. still some problems with dark matter and dark energy at least
