I wasn't sure whether I should 3bet or call here; I know I am not comfortable playing JJ postflop oop in a 4bet pot.

If I 4bet I'm not too thrilled facing a 5bet/shove (he raised me (UTG) - does he put me on a strong range?)

If I call I would hope to setmine here so if he's doing this with AA-QQ I can potentially get the rest of his stack.

I don't like the flat 3bet at all. Your OOP and if you are going to fold every Q+ high flop then you are burning money. Either 4bet and call off his jam or just fold to the 3bet.

If I call 3bet, do I at least peel one street and c/f ott? Since he's got a 5.3%3bet I have roughly 53% equity vs his range pre according to poker stove.

If you 4-bet, you turn your hand into a bluff. If he 5-bet shoves, I don't think you can call.

Fold seems OK against his 3 bet range, you can beat AK, TT, you can't beat AQ, QQ, KK, AA.

If his 3 bet range were 7%+，you may consider calling the flop and see if he shuts down on turn.

You're not really getting odds to setmine as you can only win $5, but if that was your intention on calling the 3bet then it's agood disciplined fold otf.
Are the cbet stats for a 3bet pot?
Tbh given villain's laggy stats I'm probably shipping pre expecting to be up against Ax a lot of the time if he calls. If it's the top of his range then so be it

If the villian understands that you are a tight reg from UTG and MP, he would rarely 3 bet for value his AJ+. IMO for value he 3bets only QQ+. What is his 3 bet on BTN vs UTG-CO? How often he folds to 4 bet? If it's quite wide you should 4 bet. If not - just fold.

Well we obviously can't 4b/c profitably, if he 3bet a bit wider I think we could call oop. I would just fold though when he only 3bets 5%, yeah he might be bluffing occasionally but its not like we're being exploited.

Man this also reminds me why I love 3betting EP openers. Just remember this next time if you see someone has a high fold to 3bet but not a huge difference between their EP and LP PFR stat.

4betting this and folding is a mistake you turn jj into a bluff which doesnt really make much sense. Calling for setvalue if you have some reads and can sometimes play this oop 125bb deep with reads without flopping a set is probably ok, but otherwise fold is fine and probably the best option.
