      Are you shortstacking on purpose?

No. It's mss (middle stack strategy). 40bb stack, very tight pre-flop ranges, and just a bit post-flop moves. So the goal of mss is push ur stack pre-flop, or on the flop, w/ the strongest hand.

The shorties are dead, now come the "middies"...

      @ OP:
Learn how to play against different villains. There is no general rule, if you have to stackoff with an overpair on a paired board with 40bb, it depends...

But I guess that you won't learn so much with midstacking...

yeah, i won't learn so much, but it's perfect to get a lot of bonuses w/ minimal risk. and it's good for me for a while.

It was no offense, if it is good for you, do it.

In this two hands without reads there were nothing you could do I think. Villain flopped a monster and stacked you.

I just dont get it why youre playing so short and why you are playing like this.
You hope to get it all in asap but you can only win $1.60 .... Just buy in for 100bb or more if possible and go play normal and win some money. Just buying in for little hope to stack off with every good hand issnt going to work. Players are becoming better and are not going to stack off with air post and pre flop. Just go play normal son !!

Yes, time has changed. A few years ago it was so easy to make money with shortstacking. But if you want make money today, you need more than a starthandchart... The problem with that midstacking is that you don't learn enough, on NL25 you will be the fish...

      And OP:
This is the 6max forum. Better post in fullring, maybe there you meet some other midstackers.
