PokerStars - $0.25 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: $10.62 (VPIP: 16.53, PFR: 11.29, 3Bet Preflop: 3.45, Hands: 253)
BB: $25.35 (VPIP: 57.02, PFR: 38.02, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 126)
UTG: $10.66 (VPIP: 23.58, PFR: 23.18, 3Bet Preflop: 11.69, Hands: 775)
MP: $25.00 (VPIP: 29.23, PFR: 23.08, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 67)
CO: $19.35 (VPIP: 30.56, PFR: 22.22, 3Bet Preflop: 9.09, Hands: 36)
Hero (BTN): $25.00

SB posts SB $0.10, BB posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.35) Hero has 3 3

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.62, fold, BB calls $0.37

Flop: ($1.34, 2 players) 5 A T
BB checks, Hero checks
Is it worth a cbet on this flop% Or it hits his range pretty hard?

Turn: ($1.34, 2 players) 5
BB checks, Hero bets $0.80, BB calls $0.80
I made a stab at the pot here as I think his value hands would lead the turn usually. Is that correct thinking? Would you do this with this hand or just pray for SD (maybe this gets me a cheap SD?)? Also is the 5 a bad card to do this on or is that irrelevant here?

River: ($2.94, 2 players) Q
BB checks, Hero checks

Looks WP, c-betting flop is just bad, all broadway combos have at minimum 10 outs/are ahead and he's prob not folding a gutter to one bet.

i guess you're opening very wide on the BTN w/that pre sizing?

wp on flop; villain hits a pair a ton here, though we may note that villain will have fewer flush draws since the A is already out. I would be more likely to cbet this flop than a AT5. We are also opening from a blind stealing position so won't get as much credit for a hand.

The Ace being the Ace of hearts makes literally no difference, his range is so much wider than FDs.

I'm still unconvinced about checking behind.

Villain is playing ~60% of hands over 125 hands. I'm cbetting every flop.

So much of his range connects with that board in one way or another and he isn't folding any draw or pair, yes you can fold off the random 87s but that's a relatively small portion of his range and you inflate a pot with no equity when called when you c-bet. You probably can't even get him off 44.

I don't know how to not cbet so I like the autocbetflop100%whencheckedto button? And yes, he is folding gutters like QJ here and no while his broadway draws have lots of equity against us he doesn't have very many of those so i don't care. Mostly it is "does he have an A or fd?"

Flop is good, don't mind a turn bet too much but would prefer to just check it down vs him

People are more likely to play Axs than other suited hands. Often, this reduces the number of flushdraws in a players range by half. With this villain, that % reduction is smaller, but still significant.

He's playing 60% of hands, if it's suited he's playing it.

ya, this, people also got to realize that if his entire vpip is 60 it'll even be higher in this spot.

Ofcourse, he'll also have every unsuited Ax hand, and most Tx hands, so it's not like we can bet anywhere in this hand. Fwiw, I think betting turn is worse than betting flop if you're not going to bet river after betting turn. But neither of those options beat checking it down I think.

actually, maybe going bet bet bet on any non heart runout might be better than betting only somewhere.
