NL20 - AA turn spot, was my bet/fold horrible or good?

Villain: 30/22, 3bet: 4%, hands: 77

SB: Fish

Villain thought about 12 seconds before he checked the flop. I got a bad feeling that he thought about donking with the set but I wasnt sure of course.

1) Without history, was this ok?
2) Should i have done something differently?

CO: $36.14 (180.7 bb)
BTN: $17.48 (87.4 bb)
SB: $20.80 (104 bb)
BB: $23.91 (119.6 bb)
Hero (UTG): $20 (100 bb)
MP: $11.62 (58.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A A
Hero raises to $0.70, MP calls $0.70, 2 folds, SB calls $0.60, BB calls $0.50

Flop: ($2.80) 7 5 2 (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets $1.40, Hero raises to $3, MP folds, SB calls $3, BB folds

Turn: ($10.20) J (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5.50, SB raises to $17.10 and is all-in, Hero folds

Results: $21.20 pot ($1.06 rake)
Final Board: 7 5 2 J
SB mucked and won $20.14 ($10.94 net)
Hero mucked A A and lost (-$9.20 net)

Raise more on the flop. After BB bets, there's $4.20 in the pot, so at least raise it up to $4 on that drawy board.

SB check calling a raise-reraise in front of him is very scary on that flop. Check behind on the turn and hope for a relatively cheap showdown on the river. If he leads big on the river, get out of the hand.

As played, good fold.

Man I dont know which is better.

If I check behind the turn:
+ He might bluff the river with busted draws so I think I have to call at least 1/2 pot. (only flush draw though I think)
- I give him free cards for his draws

If I bet the turn:
+ I charge his flush draw
+ I can check behind the turn
- He might check/raise but then it is easy fold

i raise more on the flop, cause with your sizing you give drawing hands good odds (obv we also have to care about the implied odds). that the sb calls your 3bet in a multiway spot looks really strong indeed.
i think i check the turn because when we bet we are in a bad spot, cause his shove gives us nearly 3:1 odds and folding here hurts so much imo.
i feel much more comfortable to check turn and then reevaluate the river, calling 1/2 potsize bet on a blank or sth.

Yeah should have raised bigger. I was scared of SB and was ready to fold to his check/raise. And thought I want to isolate the fish cheaply. Dunno why I chose to miniraise heh

SB being a fish makes this either a b/c or a check back on the turn for me. Thing is, a fish can actually be weird enough to play pre and flop like this w/ say QQ, QJhh, KJhh, JThh, 86hh, 98hh and can very well c/shove those on the turn meaning b/f becomes really ugly.

To avoid that spot checking back turn/calling basically every river bet seems better imo.

this is fine imo. cold calling on the flop is usually either very strong or a draw, in this case I assume it's very strong as he prolly wouldn't c/shove with a draw ott.

standard/good fold ott

Aah crap my bad, it is BB who is a fish and he folded on the flop. SB is not fish although he plays 30/22, 3bet: 4%, hands: 77

Im verry sorry about misinformation.
