One of these 3b situations where I get so lost... MP is a fish and BB is quite tight. So I don't think he is 3 betting me very light here because 1. MP can call him and 2. He does not seem that aggressive to do so. So I elect to call and play a good hand in position rather than 4bet and be crushed when/if he 5 bets.

I see this as a middle flop not too wet and not completely dry. I would expect him to bet the top of his range though. So when he checks maybe I should value bet here?

Is it worth putting out a value bet here? Maybe I have under represented my hand and he will call worse (what is there though?)?

He's oop so his range isn't that tight for 3betting (for example if I had ATo in his shoes I'd be 3betting it because it sucks to play that oop 3way)
I'd bet flop because otherwise we have a capped range and it sucks to play with a capped range (unless we c/b JJ, 99 in this spot otf)

as played definitely a vbet otr. He shouldn't have Jx the way he palyed it (should've bet flop and definitely river)
Rather looks like TT, AQ or something so I'd vbet ~2.5-3 to get called by TT, which is his most likel holding imo
(He could also have some weirdly played QQ+ who wanted to go for a c/r and is now scared of the J otr but I dont expect him to play that hands this way too often)

I agree with deeepz. worth value betting river - what J's could he have in his range? Maybe AJ, JJ (ha!) but can't imagine him 3betting with KJ (give his stats) QJ (given your hand) or J10 (given his stats again).....his 3bet oop has a lot of aces, including weaker aces that don't play well (per deepez A10) as well as middle pairs. His hand could be AK/AQ, 10s, 7s...the hands that make 2 pairs+ - 9-8, J-9 - aren't 3bet candidates and he probably folds them pre....he could have a set but his river check makes that unlikely since you called his 3bet and his turn bet I'd imagine he'd lead with sets/straights/J. Looks like you have the best hand, time to bet.

Don't like the flop check, he has a lot of AK combos which you let see a free turn and you can get value from worse when you bet too.
