One man's 15/12 can be completely different from another man's 15/12.

Postflop tendencies - for sure. Preflop opening ranges - probably not.

On the other hand, I would say that your statement is true for 22/19's much more so than 15/12's.

Yeah I guess I meant that you can't say "his PFR is x, and he open from MP, therefore his range is Y." Obv more applicable the higher x is.

Just to clarify the color on the chart represents the frequency at which I get dealt these hands (I think), it does not represent the frequency I open raise them

Medicore hands, Just as A9o, K8s, may be included in the chart however are opened rarely and only when the conditions are right... such as tight players having position on you and loose players in the blinds.. for an exmaple of this see one of verneers posts.

Kto Qto and s1g are really tough to play. I have a hard time to make it profitable. They are not an autoraise anymore though.
Anyone else having the same problems?

QT KT have huge kicker issues and s1g do really need help I guess

Re: Moving Up Through uNL in 2010

those hands hankat filtered are basically tweener hands and are VERY dependant on button's ability to use position against us. Even if we're losing money opening them, I don't think it's a huge leak so long as we know when they start being unprofitable on certain table conditions.

A Closer Look at Playing A Hand Like a Pro

It's important to be in tune with your emotions when playing at the tables. I'll illustrate the feelings you might experience even within just one hand. This hand happened during yesterday's session. I was of course playing my typical late 3:15 a.m. A-game:

Spoiler:

I just stacked this villain's QQ with my KK and the following hand comes up.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Hand Converter from HandHistoryConverter.com

SB ($5.19)
BB ($10)
UTG ($6.95)
MP ($10)
Hero (CO) ($20.16)
Button ($9.70)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q, Q
2 folds, Hero bets $0.35, 2 folds, BB raises to $1.40, Hero calls $1.05

I decide to flat in position and hope for a favorable flop.

Flop: ($2.85) Q, 4, 6 (2 players)

Spoiler:

Of course I flop gin and decide to not slowplay since I sense he is strong. I min-raise tarp him:

BB bets $2.30, Hero raises to $5, BB raises to $8.60 (All-In), Hero calls $3.60

He, of course, obliges and shoves. I correctly put him on what he had cause I'm so pro.

BB shows A, A
Hero shows Q, Q

Turn: ($20.05) 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Spoiler:
River: ($20.05) A (2 players, 1 all-in)

Spoiler:

Total pot: $20.05 | Rake: $1.33
Results:
BB had A, A (three of a kind, Aces).
Hero had Q, Q (three of a kind, Queens).
Outcome: BB won $18.72

Spoiler:
... and that is how to play a hand like a true professional poker player.
