Most Difficult Street to Play

I'm curious street you guys find most difficult to play and why. What are some of the most difficult spots you find yourself in on the given street?

the river since we have to have a better idea of our opponents' ranges to make good plays than any other street and it's where the most costly mistakes/profitable plays can be made given the size of the pot.

Turn, ranges are most ambiguous there. River is usually most defined. Just tough sometimes when the board runs out badly, happens.

Interesting that so many people picked the the turn so far. When I was writing strategy down for each street, the turn struck me as the most complex.

What specific things give you guys problems per street?

river, but only because you just won't have as much experience there. prob everything postflop is just so much harder than preflop, but flop you will just have alot more experience and alot more stats and reads on your opponent. nobody ever shows down a hand.

The turn is definitely the most complex. So many ways to play different situations. It is definitely the street I need to most work on.

What are problems you think beginning/intermediate players have about river play?

Re: Most Difficult Street to Play

IMO on the flop im just doing standard things like cbetting,c/r with flopped sets on wet boards, etc. Whereas the turn is the street where you are narrowing villians range and doing the most creative plays. I feel like theres the most thinking to be done on the turn because unlike on the flop were people have a more polarized range when betting/raising, on the turn its more of a merged range. By the river im usually just following through with my plan on the hand since spr is so low, making it the easiest for me.

checking the best hands too often/not value betting enough

Do you feel like you value own yourself consistently when you triple barrel?

Re: Most Difficult Street to Play

River is going to be most difficult to play for people just because the spots come up so infrequently but preflop is where people have most leaks imo.
