I have the gunnar glasses, and I don't find them worth the $200 difference personally.

is there anything special about these gunnars other than the color of the lens? I have similar safety glasses will they do the same job or is there something else to it?

i use both flux and the glasses at the same time, not sure if that is recommended

I have gunnars and flux, both do the same but gunnars dry my eyes out so i use flux generally. a lot of pl seem to prefer gunnars though so i guess each suits ppl differently, i'd go with the, try flux and then get the gunnars if flux is not good route though.

oh, on a side note, you can use gunnars with xbox but not flux if that makes any difference
