BB: 100 BB (VPIP: 14.29, PFR: 14.29, 3Bet Preflop: 16.67, Hands: 14)
CO: 106.84 BB (VPIP: 23.53, PFR: 11.76, 3Bet Preflop: 16.67, Hands: 17)
Hero (BTN): 100 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has J

fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6.4 BB, 2 players) 3

BB checks, Hero bets 4.08 BB, BB calls 4.08 BB

Turn: (14.56 BB, 2 players) 5

BB checks, Hero bets 11 BB, BB raises to 30.96 BB, Hero raises to 92.92 BB and is all-in

It seems to me it very bad line
Turn check. river fold if miss?

I check back turn. Hes not folding anything here that he called with on flop, and if he raises us we more or less have to call. Might as well take the free card. We can still get decent value on the river if he has a hand and we hit and he might take a stab with his air also.

Easy 2nd barrel imo, loads of fold equity. Close between fold or flat the raise, can be drawing to a worse flush but more inclined to believe this is set or 8T at least.
Can have other bluff of course

Yes there is fold equity. He must have bluffs like improved BDFDs. Cos the 5 ott improved more bluffs than made hands I suspect he could even overfold.

Maybe its better to just call your whole range in this spot that way you ll have lot of strong hands otr if it is spade or harts and it gives you chance to value bet brick rivers with your sets two pairs and maybe some over pairs and that way you can bluff with your draws missed draws.

I think betting here is fine. Prob flat the raise because youd only have flush and straight outs. You can get paid if you hit.

Second barrel seems fine to me, but I'd flat call his raise OTT. He's giving you pot odds of roughly 2.8:1 to hit your flush or straight which comes in about 25% of the time. Fold to a river raise when you miss, re-raise when you hit.

Implied odds make it a solid +EV situation.

Checking turn is fine but you want to bet here regularly.

If you're behind but the Q and J are live you should call. If he has a set/2P you can still call if he's paying it off.

If he's bluffing often you should jam to fold his equity. There are a lot of draws he could turn into bluffs here.

Good line, you played fine unless you have reads that he doesn't bluff there. If he doesn't, you should probably call.

No one mentioned it so I am not sure, but could the turn bet be a little bit lower? I would not 4bet turn because I expect his range to be quite strong when he raises (best scenario would be draws that we dominate). Plus if you call, even though implied odds might be not that good when we hit the flush, your SPR is pretty good so you might be able to GII against doubles or sets that he can't let go
