How much should I bet, to stop opponent's full house? How much should I bet, to stop opponent's full house?

micro 6-max

Hero has about 100BB, Opponent has about 100BB, too.

pre-flop:

3 people fold,
BTN (opponent) bet 3BB,
SB fold,
BB (Hero): I got K T , and I choose to call.

Flop: A Q J
2 people, 6.5BB in the pot.
BB(Hero): I got a straight,and I'm afraid about flush ,so bet 1 pot, 6BB.
BTN: Call

Turn:A Q J 8
2 people, about 18BB in the pot.
BB(Hero): still afraid about flush, bet 1 pot, about 18BB.
BTN:Call

River:A Q J 8 8
2 people, about 56BB in the pot.
BB(Hero): there's no flush anymore, I bet 3/4 pot, about 40BB.
BTN: ALL-IN
BB(Hero): Call

BTN shows A 8, and win.

When I review this hand, I don't know which part is wrong,
I think maybe in Flop, I should bet more or even ALL-IN. However, there is a odd that opponent got a flush draw, so ALL-IN in flop maybe not a good idea.

Anyone can help me? what should I do in this kind of situation?

Our opponent does not have that many full houses in his range here. Presumably, he raises flop or turn with his sets, so he really has very little hands that beat you here. Keep in mind when you are playing poker, there is no need to "be scared" of draws getting there. We want players with draws to call because we make long term money off these exchanges. However, on wet boards, it is fine to increase the size of your bets. Somewhere around 3/4 pot to pot is fine in these cases. Also don't shove the flop, this is very unbalanced and can be exploited very easily.

Flop lead is terribad, just take it easy and xc. He'll have spades far less frequently than you think.

Should there be a check raise at any point in the hand if board doesn't pair?

agree with mrno leading that flop in that spot is awful. Also agree with him that we should't be check raising flop although check raising flop is far better than leading

just tangentially the only time leading flop would ever be the best play is if villain is the maniac type post flop who either A) will raise all donk bets as PF aggressor or B) is the kind of player who raises flops with any piece/borderline maniac/bluff raises an exorbitant amount in bad spots etc

Rather check raise flop than donk if im gonna mix check raises with low flush draws. Check call check raise turn works too.

You obviously need to do a better job at fading the river 8. I find that shouting "three diamonds" right before the river card is dealt (but not too soon) helps with that.

Also, don't lead flop.
