I play micro stakes at NLHE full ring games hosted by Igntion. In an effort to up my game, I've been examining various instruction videos and written materials. (One of my favorite is the video series by SplitSuit.) However, without exception, the strategy on his and most other instructional sites depends on HUD and other stats supplied by tracking software, most importantly determining villain's range, style of play and so forth. Ignition does not permit an identification of the players: there is no way to track them apart from what you see while they are engaged in a single session and that yields very poor stats, especially since folks move in and out of these sessions at rather high frequencies. If you've ever played Ignition, you know what I mean.

As a beginner, moving up to low intermediate, I'd like to learn more about how to bet various hands in preflop and post flop scenarios, but can't find a good instruction series that gives anything but the very basics, e.g. hand range for various positions, how to calculate pot odd and hand odds, and value of positions, etc. I know most of that.

Since Ignition appears to be the only site I can fund and withdraw from given my US location, what can anyone suggest as a way to improve my game against opponents about which I know practically nothing. I think that that form of instruction on low stakes might transfer to micro stakes.

Thanks.

Hey friend, have you checked out America's Card Room? Make sure yo use their first deposit bonus too. This site will be more like the sites you see people play like PokerStars and such with usernames and HUD usage and stuff.

Thanks. After checking it out, I find that the site is insecure. There is no https at sign up which means data can be stolen. Furthermore, many of the links on the main page are inactive. I will continue to pursue somewhat, but first results are not promising, so I'll revert back to my original inquiry, staying with Ignition for the time being. Appreciate the suggestion though, and any input.

The guidance should be relevant with or without a hud. By observation you can get a rough idea of vpip, pfr, and looks for obv tells like limping, sizing, betting patterns and showdown ofc is important info either way.
Yes you won't get info about 3 bet % btn vs CO, river bet freq and things like this, but how useful is this anyway in most cases with a less than 1000 sample?
Verneer building a bankroll might be a decent book for you, but you'll have to look past the hud stats and think more generally.
