So I know at these stakes this doesnt really matter. But I`m just wondering on how we play 88 here on this flop?.. are we ever leading or x/r or just x/c. I feel like x/c is the standard best play.. but there are alot of turn cards that are bad for us and floats that we could push off with a x/r. What shows more profit x/c or x/r?.. Havent played cash in a while so trying to work on my ranges so not sure how this should fit into a x/r range?.. I like 6x and overpairs for value and overs with fds for bluffs to balance.. (Even though it doesnt matter at these stakes)
+1 leading makes no sense, folds all worse hands and bluffs, getting called by better hands or strong draws which can extract value later
Cant fold , cant bet, pretty much the only option here OP
we're OOP against the preflop raiser and our relative hand strength won't be any good by the river unless we hit an 8, i'd just fit/fold at these stakes in a 3way spot like this.
Pre-flop: In this spot I mix it up by calling and squeezing. Maybe call 20% of the time but I usually squeeze this. Make it about $0.18 or so?
Flop: As played, we're against a fairly wide range from the CO (He's probably opening about 25%) and the SB is probably calling quite wide seeing as it's a 2x raise. If we bet out, it's for value. We can get called by some A-high, maybe sometimes two overs. I don't think it's worth it though. We can keep his range wider and see how the other player reacts by X/C.
